“Do you feel the kiss of wind on your skin?” Hudson continued.

Aiden turned his little head, his eyes opening wide. “Yes, I do.”

“That’s your daddy’s kiss, a reminder that he’s right there by your side.”

I couldn’t stop the tears. It wasn’t possible. I glanced at my sister, noticing she had tears in her eyes as well.

“And do you feel the warmth on your skin, little man?” Jack asked.

This time, Aiden giggled.

“That’s your father telling you that you are the most important little man in his life. And that you will always be in his heart. Never forget that.”

“But can I call you my daddies now?” Aiden asked, his eyes so big and bright that I gasped.

“Oh course you can, honey. Your heavenly daddy would love that,” I managed, barely able to keep from sobbing my heart out.

As I glanced from one lover to the other, I could see that all three had teared up as well.

So much for the rugged men who’d awakened the woman inside of me. They were all marshmallow fluff.

I kissed the top of my little boy’s head as the three men crowded even closer. While I was finally ready to move on, I would never forget the joy I’d shared with Finn or the fact I had no doubt he’d been responsible for sending the three men I now loved with all my heart into my life.

EPILOGUE

Hudson

Three weeks had passed since we’d returned to the United States. Almost every minute had been eventful, stress nearly consuming all of us. Owning an oil production company in two countries on basically opposite sides of the world was daunting. There were hoops to go through, insurance a pain in the ass.

Then there was setting up retirement plans and other benefits for two sets of employees. But even the skeptical man inside of me had to admit it was worth it.

Especially since the four of us had never been happier.

Well, I should say the six of us. Both Aiden and Xena had settled down after the huge change, enjoying exploring their new homeland together with their crazy set of parents. I wanted to laugh at the concept. While the four of us could never be conventionally married in the traditional sense, that didn’t matter to the lot of us.

We were in love and happy, eager for what the future brought and ready to take on anyone who tried to stand in our way.

“Where are we going?” Rylee asked in her lilting Irish accent. I glanced into the rearview mirror of the SUV I was driving, grinning like some guy who’d just won the five-hundred-million-dollar lottery.

Perhaps in a way I had. Another change. We all had.

While our days had been filled with hard work, including several trips to the Alaskan rig that had been purchased from Foxx’s father, our nights had been filled with countless hours of passion. We’d been in temporary housing since our return home, but that was about to end.

“Tsk. Tsk. Amazing things come to good girls who have patience,” I told her, glancing over at Jack in the passenger seat.

“And you know I don’t have any,” she told us in her usual defiant voice.

I lifted my eyebrow, still looking into the mirror as I took the exit for the little surprise we had for our girl.

“Good point,” Jack growled. “Hey, Foxx. Do you think you can handle the issue?”

A laugh was right under the surface as Foxx exhaled in his usual dramatic way. Since our little gal refused to follow all our orders, she’d received a reminder of her place in our world several times.

Not that she’d seemed to mind.

I could tell she thrived on the various forms of discipline, although she had her own ways of getting back at us.

The naughty vixen.
