Ty followed Asa through the door to the stage, and they took their places. Asa, then Ty, and beside Ty a large portrait of Owen. They were both supposed to have been Asa’s best men. Together.

He slowly reached out and fist-bumped the canvas showcasing Owen’s infectious smile—a mischievous gleam that was all Owen Barkley.
