He swung her into the circle of her arms, and pulled her into a kiss. She felt the puppy on her chest, and took it from his hands, careful not to squash it. Then, he captured her lips with his again, stroking her tongue with his, sending shivers of insane desire down her spine all the way to her sex.
“Get a room, you two,” a pedestrian said with an amused voice.
“That’s advice we should definitely listen to.”
She caressed the puppy’s smooth coat, and it made a sound that showed her he was content. “We may need to stop in a pet store first.”

He kissed her cheek. “I wanted to get you with me as quickly as I could.”
She licked her lip, still tasting him, and so happy to know every day of her life would be like this. With him, by her side. Then, she took his hand, ready to take him away from the crowd. She may have felt like the second choice for a good chunk of her life, but not anymore. “What can I say? Well done, cupcake.”
