“Jase.” Her whimpers spurred me on. “Right there. Yes! Oh God, I’m coming!”

With one final shriek, her pussy gripped me like a vise and her entire body began to tremble as she came. I groaned and shoved up into her a few more times before I fell with her, pulsing like waves inside her. I reached around to rub her clit softly, extending the pleasure, before we both relaxed.

I didn’t pull out of her straight away. I loved feeling so intimately connected to her. One arm came around to bring me closer to her, and when I turned her face toward me my mouth covered hers in a hot kiss.

Once we’d both come down from the high we’d pushed each other to, I withdrew softly and she mewled. I picked her up in my arms and gently placed her on the bed, disappearing into our bathroom. Coming back with a warm washcloth, I wiped her clean and threw it into the hamper.

Sliding back into bed with her, I pulled Emilia close. She draped her body over mine, and we kissed over and over. “I guess this means I need to buy you a really big ring now.”

She smiled at me and my heart swelled inside my chest. “It doesn’t have to be enormous.”

“You can have any ring you want. Shall we pick one together?”

“I’d love that.” Her lips brushed mine. “I’ll have to start looking. I have no idea what I want.”

“Really? None at all?”

“Well, I want it to be big enough for people to notice, but I don’t want it so big we’ll have to hire a bodyguard to watch over me.”

“You don’t need a bodyguard.” My fingers stroked her spine. “You’ve got me.”

She snuggled closer. “I know. And you’ve got me.”

“Yes, I have.” I tightened my arms around her.

“Mrs. Emilia Lucille Bennett. I like the way that sounds.”

Warmth blossomed in my chest at the mention of her name with mine. “So do I.”

She nuzzled my neck, her fingertips gliding across my chest. “Think you can sleep now?”

Could I sleep? With my new fiancée in my arms, I was sure I could manage a couple of hours. “Yes, sweetheart. I can sleep. You should, too.”

I waited until she’d drifted back off to sleep, still curled around me, her breathing steady and even. I watched her in the dark, the storm still raging outside and the lightning bringing flashes of illumination into the room. Eventually my eyelids became heavy and I surrendered to the darkness that called to me once more.

On Monday morning, I made a call to set up the surprise for Emilia. The store advised it would take several days to get exactly what I wanted, so we made arrangements for us to go on Friday night.

The week seemed to drag during the day, but at night she kept me plenty busy and very naked. We couldn’t seem to get enough of each other. I managed to steal some kisses at work, and I coaxed her into stripping for me one lunch time and riding my cock while I was seated in my chair until we both came hard.

I told her on Friday morning we had a date that night but didn’t let on about where we were going. I ushered her out of the building and into our town car, and we arrived at our location at seven on the dot. I’d instructed Stuart to park around the back of the store, and the manager was there to greet us personally at the door.

Once we arrived on the correct floor, he flicked the lights on and I heard the loud gasp Emilia let out. Right in the middle stood an immaculately dressed young woman, standing behind a counter. I took my fiancée’s hand and led her over, and once we got close enough, I could see tray upon tray of diamond rings sitting on the top of the counter.

“Time to pick a ring, Em.”

She gazed up at me, her eyes misty and her mouth slightly open. “Oh my God, Jase.” Looking around her, I could see the surprise in her expression. “I can’t believe you got Tiffany’s to open just for us.”

“I figured it would be easier to have a look at some rings if we weren’t surrounded by other people, especially since we haven’t announced our engagement publicly yet.”

At my encouragement, she stepped up to the counter and looked over the rings on display. I’d asked for a number of rings with pink diamonds to be there, knowing of Emilia’s enchantment with the pricey gemstone, and as soon as I laid eyes on one ring in particular, I knew it was the one.

It wasn’t the largest or flashiest available. It was a square solitaire on a shiny gold band and looked to be about two carats. I picked it up and studied it closely as she gazed at others, trying several on her finger. The one I held looked to be flawless in cut and clarity, and I was willing to bet it was expensive.

The price didn’t matter to me, though. Whichever ring Emilia wanted she would have. I placed the ring back on its display and moved around to look at others.

“Anything catch your fancy, sweetheart?”

She looked up at me, her eyes sparkling as brightly as the gemstones before us. “They’re all so beautiful, Jase. I don’t know which one to choose.”
