Amon

Sitting downstairs listening to Rayen being with Gwendoline was a mixture of torture and pleasure. Her little moans were like a dangerous seductive melody in his ears. He’d grown painfully hard as her song became louder. Not allowing himself to touch and release his pressure, he clenched onto the armchair.

Silas had disappeared, probably taking care of himself.Amon, though, felt as if he didn’t deserve release or pleasure like that. He’d sworn himself to Marianna. She was supposed to be his one and only. His heart ached as his mind tried to reason with him. He knew Marianna wasn’t part of his life anymore, but his heart still belonged to her. It wasn’t that Gwendoline meant nothing to him, but rather he was afraid his feelings for her would erase Marianna. It wasn’t just that, but he didn’t want to dishonor Marianna by taking a new woman.

Gwendoline’s moans drowned in a loud growl before the house fell silent, only her racing heart echoing above him. He heard Rayen as he offered to clean her, though she didn’t seem to like that very much. It sounded as if she was embarrassed for him to do it.

Silas showed up next to him grinning, his eyes on Amon’s crotch. “You should take care of that.”

Amon ignored him but Silas seemed in a teasing mood.

“That’s unhealthy. If you don’t take care of that, it might fall off.”

Before Amon could reply, he heard Rayen ask if she wanted them with her again while sleeping. Silas rushed upstairs as soon as she agreed. Although Amon wanted to rush to her side too, he waited until his erection faded.

Upstairs, Gwendoline was already bundled up in the covers, with Rayen and Silas on either side of her. She smiled at him as he sat down by the window.

“What do you all usually do at night?”

“Amon works, no surprise there,” Rayen chuckled.

“So, if you work all the time, when do you paint?”

“I haven’t in a while.”

“I never was good at it,” she admitted shyly before tilting her head to Rayen. “Silas probably reads a lot, but what do you do?”

Silas caressed her neck and whispered, “Lose all the money Amon works for.”

“That’s not true,” Rayen tried to defend himself. “I don’t lose as often anymore.”

Gwendoline looked at him a little confused but curious.

“I place bets on sports.”

“What’s your favorite sport?”

“Horse racing.”

“He owns a few horses,” Amon chimed in, loving how her eyes started sparkling.

“You do?”

Rayen nodded. “I didn’t know you liked horses.”

“I’ve never really been near one.”

“Well, we need to change that, little bird.”

“Aren’t horse races super fancy?”

She amused Amon. She wasn’t scared of three vampires in her bedroom but going to a luxurious sports event seemed to terrify her.

“You’ll fit right in.” Rayen kissed her forehead and smiled down at her. “Sleep now. You have work tomorrow.”

She sighed but closed her eyes, not fighting him in any way. Amon watched as Silas and Rayen soothed her to sleep, spoiling her with caresses.
