“Already being handled.”

She cocked her head against her arm. “So, you thought of everything.”

“Soon as you left the casino, you had me worried, so I had to put as much force behind finding you.”

“There's something else we need to talk about.”

“What?”

“Angelina.”

“I know.”

“Are you doubting I believe her?”

“No, she and I were never an item or serious.”

“I get it, Vincenzo; but she’s convinced you’re the father of her child.”

“A lie, and she’s going to get dealt with because she’s working with Cono and Gianney.”

“You are lying!”

“Sit down and relax, before you pass out again.” I rushed around from the desk, helping her to sit.

“Sorry, I moved too quickly.”

I stood and headed back to my desk, then lifted the phone and dialed my private eye. I put them on a three-way call with my tech team.

“Manual, we need additional information.”

“I got word on Cono,” Manual answered.

Nyla and I gazed locked in at his comment. “Where?”

“A home he’s using near Chesterton.”

“Hiding in plain sight.”

“I can send the location and get a few police on payroll to keep a look out.”

“No, that will spook him. Send the address.” Ending the call, I glanced up at Sante, standing in the doorway.

“Gianney’s on ice if you’re ready.”

“I want all three of them.”

“I’m coming with you.” Nyla rose from the couch.

“No. Rest is the only thing I want you to do to save your strength.” I peppered kisses along her cheek and shoulder.

“You promised to not leave me out.”

“Promise. I’m going to grab him and bring him back.”

“Okay, and Angelina needs to be handled.”

I stared back at her. She had a pout on her face. “Get dressed and stay quiet,” I demanded.
