When a local drug-dealing teen is found murdered after talking to this mysterious user, Brenda and Detective Mack Abernathy are put on the case. They soon realize that all clues point to the infamous mafia boss Joey Curanto. Warned by the FBI to stay away from the mob boss but determined to seek justice, Brenda defies their orders – even after Curanto’s goons make an attempt on her life.
With time running out and the entire mafia on her tail, Brenda and Mack know they need to find Curanto and take the law into their own hands. Unable to rely on the police for help and with no backup in sight, will Brenda and Mack survive the deadly grip of the all powerful mafia boss? Or will they end up sleeping under the frozen river with other dead bodies?
