“What?” Wrath and Murphy ask at the same time.

“We’re having twins.”

Trinity runs over and hugs Charlotte. “That’s amazing. Are you excited?”

The girls huddle together to talk baby stuff. I nod at Wrath. “Sure you’re not feeling left out?”

He hugs Alexa, who’s still treating his lap like her own personal throne. “I’m good, thanks.” He waves his hand at Murphy and me. “Apparently I’ll have plenty to keep me occupied.”

Outside, the sound of Rock’s bike reaches us.

“Sounds like Mom and Dad are here.” Wrath grins. “Go tell them your good news.”

“Would you knock it off with that,” I growl, sneaking a glance at Heidi.

I take Charlotte’s hand and we go meet Rock and Hope outside.

Charlotte waits until Hope gets off the back of Rock’s bike to approach. “How was the first ride, after…?” she asks, gesturing toward the house.

Hope rubs her hands over her ass and grits her teeth. “Rough.”

Rock’s clearly distressed to hear that and pulls her to his side, leaning down to whisper something in her ear. When he finishes, Hope’s blushing and he’s grinning.

He finally nods hello at us.

“You two look like you’re about to burst. What’s up?” Hope asks.

“You’re going to be a grandpa,” I tell Rock.

He groans and shakes his head, but his smile widens. “What’d I tell you about that?” Reaching out, he pulls me in for a hug. “Congratulations.”

“Twins,” Charlotte adds.

“Oh my gosh. Double fun.” She wraps Charlotte up in a big hug. “Congrats.”

“You coming or going?” Rock asks.

“Going. Told Murphy, Heidi, Wrath, and Trin.” I gesture toward the clubhouse. “I’ll catch Z and everyone else tomorrow at church.”

“Sounds good.”

We go through another round of hugs before Rock and Hope head into the clubhouse.

“You sure you don’t want to wait and tell anyone else?” Charlotte asks.

“Nope. Trust me. Word will spread.” I pull her in closer and lower my voice. “We need to go home and celebrate, Sunshine.”
