“You do it so well.”
“I can’t believe I’ve been living here for a month now. It seems like only a few days, and yet it also seems like I’ve known you forever.”
I sighed happily. “That’s because we were made for each other.”
“I think we were. You’re the light I needed in my life.”
“And you’re the grumpy, bossy man I needed in mine.”
He glared at me, then smiled that full smile I’d only ever seen when we were alone. “I’ve never believed in fate or anything like that, but I know you’re mine.”
I kissed him once more. “I am. Always.”
