‘Look at the two of them. Is it just me, or is there more chemistry going on out there than just checking the pH balance in the hot tub?’
‘I’m no expert, but that does look like flirting, doesn’t it?’
‘Mirrored body language, eye contact,hair flicking – it’s flirting,’ Felicity agreed before adding, ‘That’ll explain it?’
‘Explain what?’
‘Why Florian kept his eyes on our faces while we were half-naked.’
Lisa laughed. ‘Trust you to notice that. Maybe he was just being polite?’
Felicity gestured towards the terrace, where Dom was unzipping his leathers down to his waist, revealing a fitted base layer clinging to musclesbeing more than admired by Florian’s drifting ice-blue eyes. ‘Sure he was!’
Catching each other’s eye, Lisa and Felicity giggled and headed outside. Lisa welcomed Dom with a hug and wondered if the heat in his cheeks was from his long ride or his encounter with Florian.
‘Dom, you’re here. You know Flick, and I can see you’ve already met Florian, he’s an artist.’ Lisa looked at Dom andwiggled her eyebrows, holding back the ‘good with his hands’ she wanted to add.
The flush on Dom’s cheeks spread. ‘Yes … he, um … was just … you know what, it’s really hot out here. Do you mind if I get unpacked and hit the shower?’
