She glares at me. “Seeing as you have a girlfriend, Logan. I don’t think that’s a good idea.”

“Girlfriend? What the hell are you talking about?”

“The woman that was hanging all over you tonight.”

I think back to before she showed up, then it hits me. Shit! She saw Cassie’s whining ass trying to get my attention earlier.

“Look, Cassie is not my woman. She’s clubwhore. She ain’t shit to me, babe,” I say with conviction hoping she will let it drop, but when she narrows her eyes at me I know that’s not happening.

“Well, she told me otherwise.”

What the fuck?

“Explain,” I demand.

“Your little ‘friend’, came up to me the other day when I was out shopping with my sister. She and her tacky friend informed me that you belong to her and to stay the hell away from her man. I have to say, Logan. You picked a real classy one there,” she says while crossing her arms over her chest, pushing her breasts up, making my eyes zero in on her cleavage. She so fuckin’ cute trying to be all angry. I’m not going to even try and hide my smirk.

“So, now you think this is funny?” she huffs, then stomps out of Jake’s office.

I stand there for a minute, staring up at the ceiling before going after her. This woman is going to be the death of me. I catch up to her before she can even make it out the front door. Putting my shoulder to her stomach, I scoop her up.

“What the hell, Logan! Put me down right now!”

Reaching up I give her a firm slap on the ass.

“You did not just spank me? You asshole!”

“Enough!” I bark.

Something in my tone causes her to stop fighting. As soon as I make it outside to my bike I set her down, then look her right in the eyes. “I do not have a girlfriend. Whatever that bitch told you is a lie. Cassie is a clubwhore. Her purpose is to cater to whatever needs a brother has. That’s what she signed up for. That’s it. I’ll deal with her ass later. You should have come to me and asked if it was true, but instead, you assumed that it was.”

“I thought maybe I had read too much into the last few weeks,” Bella murmurs, looking down.

“No, babe. I was battling shit in my own head. I don’t deserve you, but I’m a selfish man. I’m finally taking what I want, and what I want is you.

I hand her a helmet before straddling my bike. “Get on.”

She does so, wrapping her arms around my waist. It feels so fuckin’ good to finally have her on the back of my bike.

Pulling up to my house, I park the bike and hold out my hand for her to climb off. Taking my helmet off she starts looking around.

“You live here? I’ve always envied people who could live out here on the lake. It must be great waking up to this every morning.

“Come on,” I say, grabbing her by the hand and leading her into the house. I chuckle to myself as we walk inside because she certainly is not shy about being nosey. She looks at everything, stopping at some framed photos on the wall. They’re pictures I took back in high school. I brought my camera along on a weekend ride with Reid and Noah. I tried to capture everything from the scenery, our bikes, us. I watch her run her fingers over the frames.

“These are beautiful. Logan. I recognize you and Reid, but the third guy...”

“That’s Noah, Reid’s brother.”

“I remember you talking about Noah, the day you told me about growing up with the club. I’m sorry you guys lost him.”

“Yeah, me too.”

I watch as she walks to the staircase and starts making her way upstairs.

I love the look of her in my home. It feels right.

After locking up and setting my keys on the counter, I set out to find my girl.
