Speaking of which, my friend Colleen nudges me with her hip in greeting.

“You’re radiant, girlfriend,” she giggles. “Are Dylan and Frank keeping you happy?”

I roll my eyes. “Yes, in case you’re wondering.”

“Good,” she titters once more, balancing her baby in one arm. “Pregnant sex is amazing, right?”

I laugh myself because I’m so huge now that we have to be careful when going at it. But Dylan and Frank are handy men, and they’ve actually built several contraptions to make our shenanigans a bit easier to manage given my enormous form. But it wouldn’t matter because we’d find a way no matter what. If anything, the hormones make me need it even more, and I’m surprised I haven’t worn out my lovers yet.

“Pregnant sex is amazing,” I acknowledge. “But girl, you have such a dirty mind!”

“Exactly,” Colleen smirks naughtily. “That’s why we’re best friends!” But then her expression goes serious. “No really, I’m happy for you, April. You know my husband thinks the world of Dylan and Frank, and the three of them have been buddies since forever. Isn’t it so weird that you happened to hook up with two of my husband’s best friends? Especially since you were so opposed to me setting you up on a blind date in the beginning?”

I nod with a smile.

“I know, I know, and I’m eating my words now. But thank you, Colleen, because having yours and Carl’s support really means a lot to me, especially since not everyone was gung-ho about our threesome when we first came out.”

After all, Monroe is a small town in New Jersey. We’re not like New York City where anything goes, and so there were some community members who were shocked and aghast when Frank, Dylan, and I went public with our relationship. But we always made sure to be respectful. My lovers and I engage in PDA, but never anything over the top. As a result, acceptance came slowly but surely. If anything, Lube It All’s business is doing gangbusters now and we don’t get weird stares anymore when strolling downtown.

At that moment, Carolyn waltzes over holding a drink in her hand. She looks gorgeous with her brown curly hair put up in a bun and gushes, “This is a great party, April. The ice cream was a wonderful addition, too.”

I smile.

“Thanks. You know my friend Colleen, right?” The two women nod at each other and smile. “I’m so glad, because you guys are two of my besties. But yes, ice cream: I’ve put ideas for my shop on hold for a while, but once this baby is born, I swear I’m going to open my own place.”

Carolyn laughs again.

“And be sure to hire me as your manager,” she adds. “You can’t leave me alone at Frosty Freeze because I’ll die! But April, I hate to be pushy because this is your party, but who are those men over there?” she asks in a hushed voice as the three of us turn to steal a glance. “They’re gorgeous and OMG, so built too.”

I nod immediately with a smile on my lips.

“That’s Talon and Torment Creighton. And yes, they’re Tyler’s older twin brothers.”

Colleen scrunches her nose.

“Wait, you’re talking to Tyler again? Really?”

I shake my head.

“No, Tyler’s out of the picture. He moved away, and I don’t know where to. Nor do I want to know because he was a bad apple,” I add ruefully. “But randomly, Talon brought his car to Lube It All after a minor fender bender, and he and Frank and Dylan started talking. It turns out the MMA fighter’s not so bad, even if he’s a beast in the ring, and we’ve even come to be friendly with one another.”

Carolyn’s practically salivating now as she takes in the handsome twins with their sculpted physiques and penetrating blue eyes.

“Plus, they’re gorgeous, girlfriend,” she whispers. “I can feel my ovaries quivering in their presence. You have to introduce me,” she begs.

I smile.

“Of course, Car. Will do because I can’t think of anyone who deserves to find love more than you.”

But at that moment, Dylan and Frank come up behind me, cutting off the conversation. Dylan kisses me as Frank slides his arms around my back, making me into an April-sandwich.

“It’s time to cut the cake,” Frank murmurs in my ear. “Are you ready to do the gender-reveal, sweetheart? Are you ready to give up your secrets?”

I smile impishly because actually, I’m the only one who knows the sex of our baby. I nod and subtly grind my bottom against his rigid crotch.

“I’ve got no more secrets around you guys, but yes, I’m ready,” I giggle. “Let’s do it.”

Both men growl but manage to get themselves under control. We make our way to the dining room where an enormous cake is on the table, frosted in a neutral white.
