“Hey wifey,” he told me in a husky voice, making me smile. I’d never get sick of that term. It thrilled me when he said it at our wedding two years ago and still did to this day.

“Hello, husband. I love you.” I told him as I turned in his arms. He kissed me sweetly before taking my hand and leading me into the bedroom. I laughed as he pulled me hard against him, kissing me harder.

“I’ve wanted to do that all day,” Sterling told me as he cupped my ass over the maxi dress that I was wearing. He kissed me again and my pregnancy hormones made the desire rush through my body. I wrapped my legs around him and he carried me to the bed, pressing me down lately. He kissed me until I was breathless before stripping the dress from my body and tossing it to the floor. Sterling made me feel beautiful as he worshiped my body, making me come for him twice before we even had sex. He always teased me that he was going to keep me knocked up since I always wanted him then. I laughed because it didn’t take pregnancy for that. Once he was done licking and sucking my clit into his mouth, Sterling moved up to suck my pebbled nipples between his lips. He rolled to his back and reached for my hand as I moaned. I loved riding him and I moved easily to impale myself over him. Sterling’s hands were all over me as I fucked him, teasing my senses as I felt myself tighten around him. I came with a low cry of his name as he held me still, driving his cock up into me. “I love you, baby.”

“I love you,” I dropped to the mattress and took a deep breath as I curled up on my side. I was so happy as I felt his warm body beside me in our house with our daughter sleeping just down the hall from us. Sterling kissed my stomach and then moved to my lips for a soft, sweet press of his mouth to mine.

“I love you. I love that everyone in our lives are in this with us. Even if they weren’t, I’d be here with you, Rosie. You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me.” He relaxed beside me, staring at me in the light of the moon.

The last three years have been a journey. I went from needing to run away from my family and go back to school to staying in my home town. I’d dreamed about the first scenario for so long that it was engrained in my mind.

Things change.

I fell in love with Rosie that last year, I was probably in love with her for years, but I was living the life I was raised in. Dad didn’t value relationships as much as he did business. He told me to have fun and wait to settle down, words that were never meant for the girl down the street. We were like a modern Romeo and Juliet, Rosie, and me. Besides falling in love with her, s

he got pregnant. That was on both of us since we agreed to not use anything. She felt too damn good wrapped around my bare cock and desire always won. I couldn’t regret anything now. I had the perfect life.

The building that I worked out of was so much more than a building. It was Rosie’s childhood and her dad’s dream in the very beginning of his business life. It offered promise to a family once upon a time and in some ways, brought a new promise now. I worked with my father-in-law to make it a powerful accounting firm and it was the most successful in the area within months. Violet was fast working towards having her own architecture firm within the next ten years on a floor below us and there was a real estate agency below that. All of them were doing great, and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed running things. Law faded into the background rapidly once I got my hands wet and watched as our families learned to get along again.

I watched my first child come into the world, all fierce and ready to face it. She was beautiful like her mother and wanted to do things on her own from the start. It was exhausting much of the time, but I watched Rosie mold her as she grew up. She loved that her daughter wanted more from life and never told her otherwise. I watched everyone in our families fall on love with her the same way that I did. It was like falling off a damn cliff into a need to make Miriam safe in this world. I lived for the moments when I was holding her, looking into the eyes that mirrored mine, and knowing that I was the center of her world. I was having another one in a few months and could barely wrap my mind around that. It was going to get crazy around the house, but I was all in.

Some of the guys were getting married now. Luke was preparing for his own baby soon and spent a lot of time at our house observing our life. It would never be the same for him as every kid was different along with every household. I just enjoyed having him around for this. The other guys as well.

So many of them knew that I loved Rosie when we were kids. They came clean after her pregnancy was revealed and toasted me with beers at the local bar, making me laugh. I asked them why they didn’t tell me then, but we were so young. Our lives were suddenly separate, and we knew nothing about each other apart from gossip. Why would they tell me?

Now I watched as our families connected in time for Miriam to know what we had when we were younger. Business was discussed a lot still but as a partnership. It wasn’t a competition or even a war anymore, something it felt like to all of us. The moms adored Miriam and spoiled her together along with teaching Rosie some of the old traditions.

My sister didn’t know Rosie well since she was too young to remember everything. She loved her now though, and the kids were great together. There were several nights of visits and dinner, movies, and drinks. My brother married another doctor, and they had a baby just after Miriam was born, giving her another young cousin. I was certain that they were all happy with the turn of events and joined all of us for holidays and family dinners.

Overall, life was fucking great. It took some time to get there and a lot of pain, but I was with my girl now. I was making my family and happy as hell about it. I got to sleep beside the most beautiful woman in the world every night and watch her with our amazing daughter. I told her every day how much I loved her, so she’d never forget. I worked hard to support my family and encouraged her to write when she could.
