Her cheeks are bright pink and she giggles a bit.

“See, that flute really gets me places!”

“Yeah, I’d say it does.” Getting up, I move over to her side of the table and brush her raven locks away from her face before staring into those limpid blue eyes. “So,” I growl, “what do you say? Will you be my date? My pet, specifically?”

There’s no hesitation in her voice as she melts before me.

“I’d love to, Mr. Culver. I’m looking forward to it already.”

With that, triumph rushes through my veins as I lean forward to press a kiss to those delectable lips. I know I shouldn’t feel this way because I’m taking the sweet girl to a Russian mafia sex slave auction, for crying out loud. But still, spending time with Michelle always gets my goat, and I can’t help but feel that I’m the most powerful man in the world.

Michelle

I’m excited because tonight’s the night of the Long Island party, and I’m dying to go. Most girls would feel trepidation, and I do because Ben mentioned that the party’s really going to push the limits. Yet, I can’t wait. What is there out there that I haven’t seen yet? What can I experience that I’ve never done before? I shiver a bit in my skimpy dress.

Actually, it isn’t much of a dress, per usual. It’s more like tiny bits of lacy lingerie, and Mr. Culver’s the one who picked it out. The outfit is all black and the lace is meticulously woven so that my nipples and pussy are covered, but not much else. Literally, the only parts that are made of solid material are the postage-stamp sized squares that cover my nips and pussy. Everything else is basically visible through the sheer material. But the outfit is oddly elegant, and I’ve paired the dress with sky-high matte black pumps that elongate my legs while pushing my bust out. My hair’s swept into an elegant updo, and I’ve done my make-up sultry for the evening.

I hope Ben likes it, but I think he will because we’ve been seeing each other non-stop for the past few weeks. We’ve enjoyed dates in the restaurant, danced and laughed in the disco on the top floor, and spent every night together in his private suite at the club. To be honest, sometimes we never even leave the space for days. Instead, we’re tangled in each other, making love again and again while breaking only for food and showers. It’s heavenly, and I adore it. Obviously, the sex is out of this world. My man’s got a bit of a dominating streak and I love when he barks commands. There are always the most delectable rewards for being a good girl, and I never thought I’d say this, but I’m looking forward to wearing his collar.

Yet even better than the naughty play is all the time we’ve spent talking. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt like I really know someone because it’s been hard for me to make friends ever since leaving the psychiatric hospital. My half-brother, Keith, is in touch, and his wife Kelsey is nice enough, but after what I did to them, I understand if they want to maintain their distance. So other than my friend Alana, I’m not close with anyone really, and it’s been nice getting to know Ben. So much so that it’s got me feeling a little guilty about not being honest with him about my past. It’s not that I’m dishonest per se. I just haven’t told him about the full extent of my mental illness, even though I know it’s not something I should be ashamed of.

After all, my therapist warns me at every appointment that part of building trust and becoming intimate is exposing yourself, even the bad and ugly parts. But somehow, I haven’t found the courage yet, but I will. At some point, I’m going to rip off the Band-Aid and spill the beans about my troubled past because if Ben really is the man I’ve come to know, then he won’t judge me. He’ll accept me for who I am, and if he doesn’t, at least I was honest. I take a deep breath. I’m going to do it. I’m going to show him who the real Michelle Commons is, warts and all. After the party, that is, because tonight, I want to enjoy myself.

At that moment, Ben pulls up in a black sports car and stops right in front of the entrance to the club. I mince over to the vehicle, but he’s out and making his way around to me before I can let myself in.

“You didn’t have to wait outside, baby. You know I’d come in to get you,” he growls, opening the vehicle door.

I smile at him before leaning in for a kiss.
