Zag lifted his hands in a stop motion and shook his head. “I need to go bleach my brain right now.” He also backed away and headed into the clubhouse.

“Is it really that strange I want to learn pole dancing?” Paige laughed.

Meg walked over and smiled wide at me. “Are we in? Did you sign us up? Where do I sign?” She pulled a pen out of her pocket and clicked it. “Someone is going to have to turn around so I can write on their back.”

“Uh.” I looked at Frost because, for the second time in thirty seconds, I was at a complete loss for words.

“Meg,” Frost laughed. “Indiana doesn’t teach,” he gulped, “pole dancing classes.”

“Well, why the hell not?” Meg insisted. “I’ve heard from everyone how amazing you are on the pole.” Meg reached out and squeezed my arm. “Girl, you need to spread that gift with more than the horny bastards at the club. God knows we don’t want to see any of them on the pole.”

“Oh,” Cyn called. She jogged down the steps of the RV and rushed over to us. “From the look on her face, I have to assume you asked her about the pole classes.” She lowered her voice and leaned toward me. “Meg is going to need just general dancing classes, to begin with.”

“What?” Meg hollered. “I dance like a bee and sting like a butterfly.” She tipped her head to the side. “Or something.”

“All right, Ali,” Frost laughed. “Indiana doesn’t do lessons. Dancing or pole.”

I cleared my throat. “Uh, well, I don’t right now, but I’m sure I could maybe come up with something.”

“You could do weekly classes!” Meg clapped her hands together and squealed. “I bet we could get loads of women around here who want to learn how to shake it properly for their men.”

“Oh! We could convert the old building on the other side of the clubhouse into a dance studio.” Cyn pointed at Meg. “You’re gonna have to clean out all of the shit from the club.”

“Me?” Meg chuckled. “You mean the boys are going to have to clean it out. I’m sure we’re going to need lay hardwood floors. Section off an area in the front for an entryway and then have a locker room area.”

“Frost,” I whispered. “What is going on?”

He leaned down. “This is what everyone has been talking about. Strange things happen when the moms get together. From what I’m following, you’re going to be teaching pole dancing classes to the women of Rockton.”

“Or men,” Cyn chirped. “We are not discriminating at all. If any of you boys want to come shake what us mommas gave ya, then get in line.”

“Pole Stars!’ Meg called.

“Beauty and the Pole!” Paige shouted.

“Woman,” King called.

Meg whirled around to face King. “I’ve found my calling! Indiana is going to teach pole dancing classes.”

King quirked his eyebrow. “How is that your calling, babe?”

Meg waved her hand at him and twisted back around. “King is always the practical one. I have to basically paint the vision for him to see it.”

I think Meg was going to have to paint it for me, too. What in the world was going on?

King folded his arms over his chest. “Haven’t seen you in a few days, and that’s all you got to say to me?”

Meg smiled smugly. “Well, you left me in Arizona, so I had to do something with my time.”

Before I could even warn Meg, King stalked the distance between them and hoisted her into his arms.

“You came back sassy as fuck,” he growled.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed a kiss to his cheek. “Isn’t that how you like me?”

“I like you anyway I can get you, woman.” King nodded to us and stalked into the clubhouse.

Meg gave a huge wave. “We’ll talk more in the morning! Pole Stars is going to be huge. HUGE!”
