Bristol clamped her lips shut. She nodded. “Okay.” She turned and followed close behind Meg. Meg handed her the crackers and pushed her out of the pantry in front of her.

Meg turned and glared at me. “If you hurt her, I will kick your boney ass, Brock,” she hissed.

I held up my hands defensively. “Hey, you’ve known me my whole life, and you’re gonna turn on me just like that?”

Meg pointed two fingers at herself and then pointed them at me. “I’m watching.” She turned on her heel and caught up to Bristol, who was in the hallway.

I ran my fingers through my hair and sighed.

Jesus. That was not what I wanted to happen today. I had volunteered to take the girl’s over to the see Royal because I wanted to see if Bristol would talk to me. I should have known that we wouldn’t be able to keep our hands off each other.

With Meg catching us in the pantry, it was only going to be a matter of time before everyone in the club would know.

I didn’t want that to happen until Bristol and I knew what we were.

As soon as I dropped the girls back at the clubhouse, I was going to come back here. I wasn’t going to go another night without Bristol knowing just where we stood.

Chapter Nineteen

Romeo on a Harley…

Bristol

“You got company.”

I set the gallon of milk in the fridge. “Uh, what?” I asked Princeton.

“Your Romeo on a Harley just pulled into the driveway,” he laughed.

“You guys really do have cameras everywhere.” I closed the fridge and pushed my hair out of my face. “You can’t even see the end of the driveway from the house.”

Princeton shrugged. “After what happened with Meeks, we’re prepared for anything.”

That was the truth.

Meg, Reva, Indy, and Pie had left half an hour ago.

Pie had said we would continue our conversation, but I didn’t think it would be this soon. I guess that just meant Pie was a little impatient, and I could figure out what he was sorry about.

“Is he here yet?” I asked.

Princeton chuckled. “I saw him turn into the driveway and then came to tell you.” He tipped his head to the side. “He’s probably halfway there.”

“Then I guess I better greet our guest.”

Princeton nodded. “Just be careful, Bristol. Make sure he knows how good of a catch you are.”

I rolled my eyes. “Right.” Though I didn’t really think I was a good catch.

I made it to the front door and heard his bike roll up to the front door. I’m sure I looked like an impatient fool, but I opened the door and jogged down the steps to Pie.

He parked his bike and knocked down the kickstand.

“Camera at the end of the driveway?” Pie laughed.

I shrugged. “They’re just trying to keep everyone safe.” Though it was rather intrusive at times. Hopefully whatever camera was on us right now Apollo and the guys weren’t watching.
