“Only one way in and out of the club. Triple the security and have two men at each door we have,” I suggested.

“You said one way in and out. Why would we need two men at other doors, then?” Easy asked.

“To make sure that no one opens those doors to get in or out, of course. Snapper was on the front door of the clubhouse last night, but there were multiple other ways anyone could get in or out. If we would have had someone watching every way in or out, Macy never would have been able to bust open the window.” Was it foolproof? No. But from where I was sitting, it seemed to have the same risks as locking everyone up since girls were still getting murdered.

“You don’t think this psycho isn’t just going to walk into Sultry Knights and kill whoever he wants?” King shook his head. “I don’t see how opening the club is possible.”

“Maybe we need to open the club, so the psycho does try to take one of the girls.” Gambler leaned forward. “We set him up so we can catch him. We make it look like we’re going back to normal, but we’re actually going to war to find this asshole. I’m fucking sick of being a basic prisoner of this clubhouse. I know for a fact that Gwen is going nuts with us watching her every move.”

As I’m sure all of the other ol’ ladies were going stir crazy.

“We open the club to set a trap for this guy.” King tipped his head to the side.

“You gotta admit it’s not a bad idea. I think we need to be more proactive in trying to catch this asshole.” Demon pointed at me. “You got your dad’s smarts, kid.”

“I’ll let him know you said that,” I drawled.

Demon chuckled. “Maybe don’t. That will totally go to his head.”

That was more than true. Dad loved the club, but he never became a member because it wasn’t his thing.

“You don’t think we might be setting ourselves up for another murder?” Snapper asked. “I’d hate for us to open the club, and then another one of the girls winds up dead because we need cash flowing in the door.”

That was a total possibility. But we had seen firsthand that there was also potential for that to happen with Sultry Knights closed and the club locked down.

“What if we open back up, but not fully. Start with just a couple of days a week, and if we think we can open fully and keep everyone safe, we do it,” Rigid suggested.

King shook his head. “I still don’t think this is the best idea. I think keeping everyone here is the best thing to do.”

“You do know that two women have been killed since we locked down, right?” Demon laughed. “I say we risk it and open up. Maybe have some special events or something.”

“Special events?” Easy asked. “What does that mean?”

Demon splayed his hands out in front of him. “We open up for lunch. Boobs and Burgers. We’ll bring in the lunch crowd.”

“Boobs and Burgers?” Hero laughed. “Can we please get a banner made and have Boobs and Burgers in huge letters?”

“What about Titties and Tofu?” Zig suggested.

Zag scoffed. “Tofu was the best food you could come up with that starts with a t?” he laughed.

Zig shrugged. “First thing that came to mind.”

“Tilapia and Titties?” Frost suggested.

“Oh, God,” Zag moaned. “You guys are idiots.”

“You think you can do any better?” Zig snapped.

Zag lifted his arms. “Tacos and Titties! How the hell did you think of tofu and tilapia before tacos? It’s like you guys aren’t even using your brains.” Zag tapped his finger to his head. “This is more than a hat holder.”

Hero pointed at Zag. “We do that on Tuesdays. Tacos and Titties on Tuesday, and then we can do Burgers and Boobs on Friday. We think of something for Saturday, and we’re back in business.”

“Pasta and Pussy?” I suggested.

I glimpsed King close his eyes and sigh.

Zag bumped fists with me. “You are on my level, brother. Pasta and Pussy on Saturday is fucking brilliant.”
