She’s talking about Olive.

Of course, she would bond with my cousin.

“It’s okay, Hannah,” Olive insists, and her voice sends goosebumps down my flesh.

God, I missed her fucking voice.

She steps away from Hannah and walks up to me, her blue eyes meeting mine. “You’re really here.”

“Yes,” I whisper. Her scent wafts over me, sweet and delicious, and I realize she’s in Heat.

Oh my God, she’s in fuckingHeat, surrounded by all these Alphas.

Just like they wanted.

“What is going on?” Hannah asks carefully, looking between us. “Dylan, you know her?”

I swallow and glance at Olive, wondering how much she’s told my cousin.

“Youdo,” she murmurs, looking back at Olive. “Why didn’t you tell me?”

Her mouth parts, and tears fill her eyes. “I…because he’s my mate,” she admits.

Now, Hannah and I both stare at her in disbelief.

It’s the Heat talking. It has to be.

She can’t mean it.

Not after what I’ve done.

Not in front of all these people…

There are gasps, and everyone in the room turns their attention to all three of us.

Hannah steps in, panic crossing her features. “Go. Take her away,” she insists, pushing her towards me. “She’s losing it.”

But I have no idea where to take herto.I don’t know my assigned room number.

“Where?” I mutter, as Olive pants, burying her face in my chest. She mutters something I can’t understand, and my arms instinctively tighten around her.

I’m not going to last another minute in here. I’m ready to fuck her senseless on the floor.

Which would not bode well for anyone.

Hannah rolls her eyes and groans, frustrated. “Her room is on the eighth floor, the penthouse at the end. Get her out of here before she starts humping you.”

Olive whimpers, her scent cloying and sweet.

I could die right here with my arms around her and be happy.

But I glance at Hannah, and she sees my concerned expression.

“She hasn’t wanted anyone but you,” she adds softly. “You can come say goodbye to me later.”

Her words jolt me, striking straight into my heart.

I nod at my cousin. “I will,” I promise her. “This isn’t the last time I will see you, Hannah.”

She gives me a small smile. “I know.”

But she doesn’t know what we have planned.

She doesn’t know Killian is blending in with the protestors outside, carrying his own sign and chanting along with the rest of them.

She doesn’t know what should happen within the next hour, and how none of the men that entered the room will ever touch any of these women again.

The guards keep an eye on me as I lift Olive into my arms and carry her out of the reception area and into the elevators.
