He reaches up for me and lifts me over the metal railing. These hands… these arms… this body… it’s home.

Cold orange Gatorade suddenly pours down on us, drenching us as two players dump the large jug over their coach’s head. The freezing liquid pours down my back, making me scream.
He laughs as he holds me even tighter and then kisses me on the lips.
