Chapter Twenty

“I haven’t been here because we’ve had a few issues we had to deal with, and I didn’t let you out of the room because I was afraid you’d disappear on me again when I couldn’t watch you. I’ve never fucked that woman because I don’t find her attractive. As far as me fucking your ass, it will happen many times, and we’ll both enjoy it. All I think about is how I got so lucky to find a wife who enjoys me as much as I enjoy her.”

He stalked toward her and pushed the bag to the floor before unbuttoning her blouse. His gaze stayed on her as he finished undressing her and then himself. He lifted her and laid her on the bed before he came down beside her.

“I’ll never let you go, baby,” he said and wiped the tears from her face. “If you have a problem, you come to me. You don’t try to pack a bag and leave me. That will never happen. And do you want to know why?”

She sniffed and nodded.

“Because I love you too fucking much to let you leave me.”

He almost smiled at the shock on her face.

“Y … you really love me?” she asked.

“Yes. With my whole heart.”

She burst into tears and pressed her face into his neck. He let her get it all out. When she was done, she lay against him and just breathed.

“I’m waiting.”

“For what?” she mumbled against his throat.

“How do you feel about me?” he asked. Fuck, he sounded like a pussy, and if his brothers or cousins heard him, he’d never live it down.

“I love you, too. So much it scares me,” she said.

“Don’t be afraid, baby. I promise I’ll take good care of you and your heart.”

Blake started kissing her, making love to every part of her body until they were both breathless and tired.

He held and fucked her through the rest of the day and night, only stopping to feed her. He couldn’t seem to get enough of her, so he took her over and over again, and he finally let her sleep when he saw the first glow of dawn start to lighten the room. It still wasn’t enough, but he knew it never would be.

He vowed to do better in loving her because he had come close to losing her once again His life wouldn’t be worth shit without her in it. He just had to show her how deep his feelings for her went.

But he did know they would be together until one or both took their last breath, and that was what he cared about.

The End
