Alexa nodded. She was very interested in what he considered punishment and was shocked to feel no fear because she already trusted him.
“I’m going to take her around and meet some of the other littles. We’ll talk to you later,” Gavin said
Chase pressed his hand against the top of her head. “I will see you soon, honey.”
She looked up at him. “It was nice to meet you, too.”
Gavin pulled her down the hallway to another office. She saw a man and a woman off to the side when she walked in and immediately felt self-conscious.
“Hey, Eli, I’d like you and Kinley to meet somebody.”
The man stood up from his desk and walked over to them. “Who might this be?”
“This is my good friend Alexa. She will be staying with me and helping me in the office.”
Eli smiled. “Much like my Kinley does for me?”
Gavin smiled. “Exactly like what Kinley does for you.”
The man slapped Gavin on the back. “Congratulations, I know you’ve been looking for a little for a while, and she’s beautiful.”
She was confused. “What’s a little?”
“It’s something we’ll discuss later, but I’ll tell you it’s just a different type of relationship that I think you and I would do well in,” Gavin said. “Right now, I’d like you to meet Eli’s little. Her name is Kinley.”
Eli turned and saw the woman standing across the room and smiled. Alexa could tell the man loved the woman very much, and she thought it was sweet.
“Baby, come here and meet someone.” Eli held his hand out to her.
She watched the woman walk toward them, and she could tell that she was as nervous as Alexa was. They stared at each other for a moment and then pressed against the man next to them, making the men chuckle for some reason.
“There’s nothing to be afraid of, baby. Kinley is a very sweet person, and I think you guys could be good friends,” Gavin said.
She glanced up at him and nodded before looking back at the woman. She was really pretty and looked like she’d be a really nice person to be with.
“Hi, my name is Alexa. It’s nice to meet you.”
The woman raised her hand. “It’s nice to meet you, too.”
Gavin chuckled again. “How about we go meet a few more people and then work in the office for a while?”
Alexa nodded.
“Say goodbye to your new friend,” Gavin said.
“Bye, Kinley. It was very nice to meet you.”
Kinley nodded. “It was very nice to meet you, too.”
Gavin looked at Eli. “We’ll talk later about a playdate.”
Eli nodded. “That sounds good.”
They went to another office, and Gavin tapped on the open door.
“Come on in,” the man said.
