We had a steady stream of people all night and by ten o’clock, the place was packed. I didn’t see Rebecca again and her friends always came to the bar to get more drinks. If she was avoiding me, I would leave her alone.

At one point in the night, I had to go around to the tables and gather some glasses. I saw her at a table with another guy. He looked to be pretty chummy with her. I hated seeing her with another guy. He was tall and looked familiar which made me think he was a player from her team.

I tried to keep an eye on them the rest of the night even though it killed me to see her laugh and smile at him. When he put his hand on her back, close to her ass, I dropped a glass on the floor.

I caught her leaving the table alone, headed back towards the bathrooms. I was going to talk to her.

“Rebecca!” I called out and she turned around.

“Hi!” She flashed me her smile and I was a goner.

I walked over to her and caught a whiff of her perfume - she smelled so good. “I didn’t expect to see you here. Or ever again.”

She swallowed hard. “Victoria likes it here.” She shrugged.

“Look, I’ll be blunt. Who are you with? Is that your boyfriend?” I didn’t have time to be coy.

She crossed her arms over her chest, pushing up those fabulous tits of hers. “That’s none of your business.”

I backed her up against the wall. “It’s not, but I thought I should tell you that I hate seeing you with another man.”

“I thought you didn’t want a relationship,” she fired back.

“I thought you didn’t either.” She didn’t answer me. “I thought I didn’t either but I enjoyed my night with you, Rebecca. I would like to go out with you and get to know you better.”

She dropped her arms. “Really?”

I nodded. “You’re all I’ve thought about for the past two weeks.”

She reached for me, snaking her arms around my neck and pulling me against her. “You’re all I’ve thought about for the past two weeks too.”

I grinned and leaned in for a kiss. I teased her tongue with mine and seriously considered taking her into the bathroom and fucking her right there. If only they weren’t so busy.

“You coming here on St. Patrick’s Day makes this my Lucky Day.” I kissed her again.

EPILOGUE ~ REBECCA

It felt good to be home. I’d been on a seven day road trip and when I got back to my place, Conan’s car was in the parking lot of my apartment complex. I couldn’t wait to see him. I hated being away from him. This last time we didn some fun stuff with phone sex and video chatting, but it didn’t even come close to feeling his hands on my skin.

When I opened the door, he was sitting at the table with two salads waiting. He had a bottle of wine and I could smell the lasagna that must have still been in the oven.

He stood up and I dropped my bags before grabbing his face for a kiss. “Hi you. You made me my favorite.”

“I did. I even took the night off for you.” He wrapped me up for a long kiss. He buried his hands in my hair and I felt his erection against me.

Our kiss grew more urgent and before I knew it, we were both naked and he was fucking me on the dining room table. When he was done, I put on his t-shirt and he slipped on his jeans. We sat down to eat, our stomachs growling.

His lasagna was delicious as usual. Thank god he could cook because I was a mess in the kitchen. As we were cleaning up the table, he pulled me to him. “I think we should move in together.”

I kind of froze in his arms. He’d always said when I met him that he couldn’t have a serious relationship. We’d been exclusive for a year now and while I thought about it, I didn’t think he was ready.

“You don’t want to?” His blue eyes looked hurt.

“I didn’t think you would ever want to.”

He cupped my ass and leaned his forehead against mine. “I never wanted to until you, Rebecca. I want to move in with you and do all the things.”

I grinned. “Ok. Let’s do it!”

Today was my Lucky Day.

The End
