“If it were any of us trying to find answers and coming up short, it would bother us too. He’s a goodun, I know he’ll come up with something. He’s good at what he does.” I flick through the pages as I say this, my focus on the names in the emails.
“I have no doubt about it,” Monster agrees. “What is this?”
He hands me one of the emails he’s been reading, and I scan it for a moment. Confused, I hand it to Sully to have a look at. Glancing back at Monster, I say, “Name rings a bell, but I can’t think where I heard it before.”
“I know a Savage from my time in the States,” Sully announces, which has both Monster and I staring at him. “I think we may be lookin’ in the wrong place.”
“Guys, I think you need to see this,” Tye calls from the entrance to the living room. The three of us turn to look at the boyo, and the expression on his face tells me this is going to be big.
Maybe we’ll get an early Christmas gift after all.
