“I can’t believe you’re already teaching Ben about bear tracking,” I say as he starts kissing my neck. “The boy is five, baby.”

“He should start learning survival skills at a young age, darling. The earlier he learns to identify signs of potential danger, the better.” Nick rests his chin on my shoulder and places his large hand on my belly. “Soon there will be another one.”

“So many boys in this house. We need a girl.”

My husband holds my hips and spins me around to face him. “We can make a girl right after baby Max arrives.”

I shriek with laughter when he starts kissing me all the way down to my cleavage. As much as I want him to take me right here, right now, we have a five-year-old boy who can pop up unexpectedly from any corner.

Just as I’m about to tell my husband to stop messing around, the sound of tires on gravel catches our attention.

My phone on the counter dings with a new message from Hailey:The crew and I are hereeeeeeee! So excited to see you!

I let out a happy squeal, excited to see my friend. Hailey has been working as a producer and was hired on to film a spin-off ofMountain Men. After our marriage, I started keeping a vlog about life in Alaska, and it’s garnered so much attention, Hailey begged me to let her crew spend a week with us to kick off her new series,Wild America.

“Is that the filming crew?” Ben appears in the kitchen doorway, clapping and jumping. “Ooooh, I’m going to be on TV!”

As I laugh, my husband leans in and kisses me on the cheek. “Ready to welcome them, baby?”

“Always,” I say and lead him to the door, our fingers intertwined.
