"She's not saying anything," Griff mumbled from somewhere behind me. "Is that bad?"

"I think she's just overwhelmed," Niall whispered.

A set of stairs came off the bathroom, and Kai carried me up them, albeit somewhat awkwardly. When we got to the top, a sprawling bedroom took up the entire loft area. Cupboards and armoires took up most of the wall space, with a huge bed right in the middle. It was the biggest bed I'd ever seen, bigger than anything I'd ever imagined.

My jaw dropped at the sight of it.

"We figured if we were all in bed together, then we wouldn't have to fight about who got to sleep with you, just who got to cuddle with you," Kai said quietly as the others filed up the stairs behind us.

"It's massive," I whispered, still in awe.

"The mattress and all the sheets have been custom-made, and we can get more whenever we want," Niall said proudly. I knew many Hyperboreans worked with textiles since it was hard to do much outside in the freezing temperatures, so it must have come from there.

I tapped Kai on the shoulder, and he set me down so I could turn to face everyone as I spoke. "This is amazing. How did you all do all of this?"

"There are a lot of very thankful people out there who were more than happy to put in a few hours work on a house for the woman that saved the realms and brought about the return of dragons." Finn walked over and kissed me on the forehead. "You know most people think you're a goddess, and they promised that once things had settled down, they'd be back to make sure that this place was worthy of someone like you. There's plenty of room for expansions, and there's even a small area for your dragons out back where they can rest and sleep if they want space."

The comment about the dragons touched me deeply, but I didn't want to cry, even if they were happy tears, so I said, "And what about all of you? Aren't you worthy too? Without you, I would have died so many times over."

"Let's not talk about you dying, okay?" Griff scowled at me as he came over to join Finn. "You know what we should talk about..." I waited to hear what he had to say, and he left me hanging much longer than necessary. "When you want to break in that new bed."

A flush went through me at the thought of it.

"I vote now, to be clear," Griff said, his voice going low and growly.

Kai surprised us all by saying, "Agreed."

The five of them took me to bed and gave me pleasure, the likes of which I wasn't sure anyone had ever experienced before. It wasn't just the physical, though. It was emotional as well. They'd given us a home in my favorite spot, and they'd made it so thoughtful.

Each kiss and caress from them was an outpouring of love, and I could only hope that I gave as good as I got. I knew in that house, our lives would be happy and peaceful and that we would all be loved for exactly who we were, and what more could I ask for other than that?

The End
