They drafted my sister to be sacrificed to the monster last autumn. I never in a million years expect my name to be drawn this time. But once I see Keri Palmer flashing on the TV screen, I know I only have two options. Only the rumors have been spreading, about sexy monsters who want women for more than just a meal. News outlets have shown drawings of them that make forbidden thoughts run through my mind.
I’m determined not to find out which of the rumors are actually true. I refuse to meet the same end my older sister did. Either I make it into another quadrant, or I’ll give that monster hell when they lower me down to him.
One way or another, I won’t lose.
