Mating because the threat of death is upon my head…how romantic.
The lesser dragons are building up a rebellion, and I’m caught on the fence. I want to support my kind, help them to gain equal rights and respect in this clan, but at the same time, I’m mated to royalty.
And the pressure to complete our mating is mounting, pun intended.
My romantic and social issues are just the icing on the cake. Beneath us, the mountain that is our home is shaking, quaking, and glowing. The mountain is throwing a fit and I think my fevers and constant body aches are connected to it–to the land we live on and in.
Of course, everyone thinks that my lack of mating is the problem. Because mating three royal dragons should solve all of my problems, right?
