He drank a full glass of water, then refilled it to drink another. He'd rehydrate and get his head in the game.

He sent a text to Maya and Addy. Told them to bring reinforcements if they needed them and prepared to go find his girl.

Absently, he rubbed the welt on the back of his head and winced.

Tate yelled out. "We've got something."

He rushed to Tate's side and glanced at his computer screen to see Neve Johnston's name on the computer screen. Tate clicked and a driver's license and other details populated the screen. "Is this her?"

"Yes."

Tate grabbed his phone from the counter. He tapped once and held it to his ear. "Rafe. Myles confirmed Neve Johnston. I'll have the team go out and look."

Tate set his phone on the counter and turned to look at him. "Myles, are you feeling up to a ride around?"

"Yes."

"I'm sending everyone available out to look for Neve Johnston. Rafe said she's been staying in Brookswood at the hotel."

"I'll go there."

"Henry's already on his way. It's a long shot that she's still around. If she's involved in this she'll know Shianne isn't here anymore. But she may be in town to come in once again and do another sweep."

"I'll head out. Did you divide the town in grids?"

"I did. You can take grid three. As soon as I hear anything further, I'll let you know."

He turned and moved toward his truck. It was still parked where he'd left it and where Tate found him lying on the ground. He rubbed the welt still present on the back of his head and squared his shoulders.

He moved a bit slower than he had earlier today. His head still throbbed, even though he'd taken aspirin to dull the pain.

Just as he started his truck his phone rang. "Sager."

"It's Maya. I got a hit on the police scanner about the silver car. It just sped down County Road. He's heading toward town."

"Thanks. I'm in my truck and heading that way now."

"Myles, are you all right?"

"I'm fine. I've got to find Shianne, Maya. I've got to."

His sister was quiet for a bit. "Okay. I'll help you. What do you need me to do?"

"You shouldn't be out on the road in your condition and working a mission. I sent you a text about packing up the orders at the boutique. That would help a lot."

Maya sighed. "So, yeah. I'll happily help in some respect, but I don't think that's my strength. I don't fold clothes worth a crap. But Lara, Kenna, and Everleigh are on their way to help with that and I'm going to tackle that shitty system she has in her office and shop. If it's as bad as you say, I'll be able to whip that into shape in no time."

He grinned. "I appreciate that Sis. Love you."

"I love you too. Go get your girl."

Shianne was pushed into a big chair across from Boss Man. He kept blowing clouds of smoke into the air and she covered her mouth and nose the best she could. The young woman who had come into her shop stood staring at her, and Shianne couldn't tell if she was mad or scared. She didn't look at her very much, and she wasn't showing any kind of emotion.

"Neve." Boss Man barked out. Shianne jumped at his tone.

The young woman turned to stare at him. "Yeah."
