What an asshole. “I’m sure you’re offering this to me for a reason.”

Thorsten and Jaxon finally bent the remaining metal but something was wrong. There was a slight tremble in the water.

“Thorsten! Get back to the platform—”

It was too late. The debris kicked up creating a cloud as unstable chunks of the building separated and all I could see was moving particles and stone.

“Thorsten! Talk to me!”

“I can’t get this damn thing off!”

“Stay calm. What is it?”

I heard him cry out in pain.

“Shit!”Jaxon exclaimed.“I tried to hold on to him, but it was too late.”

“What the hell is going on?”

“We lost him!”Dean chimed in.“I think a piece of the building sunk him.”

I grabbed my gear. “I’m coming down!”

“What? Your job is to supervise above the water, not come all the way down here! He knew the dangers.”Jaxon scolded.

“Fuck!” I cried out.

“Don’t be so quick to give up on me, I’m fine.”

“Thorsten!” I sighed with relief once I heard his voice again. “Are you on the floor?”

“No. I landed on a sturdier building and I got the boulder off me. It’s going to take a while to get back up though, tell them to start the cutting without me.”

“Okay, you heard him, keep working,” I ordered, heading back to the screen and after a few minutes Dean had announced his success at cutting an entrance large enough for everyone to float their tanks inside the station.

“Good.”

“I see the platform,”Thorsten announced.“I’m almost up.”

I saw him go inside the white rusted crusted tube and after removing the tank and activating the floatation system, he pushed it ahead of him and caught up with the group who were now using their headlights to see.

“My light is broken.”Thorsten sighed; I could tell the water was getting to him as his voice sounded weaker.

“I’m sending a drone to scout the interior of the ship,” I said, dropping the little machine in the water and controlling it on my other screen.

I couldn’t see much of anything unless the drone practically bumped into a wall.

“The space is dark but small.”

“We’re inside the emergency hatch that leads into the airlock,”Thorsten said entering the area.“We can cut through the hatch to get in, reseal it, then depressurize the airlock and push out the water.”

“Okay,” I said, waiting for them to follow the plan. Once I heard them celebrating the fact that they were inside of theairlock and water free. I smiled. So far everything was working out. “Is there a way to get my drone inside the airlock so I can see what you will be dealing with?”

“Hold on.”I heard Jaxon say before placing the drone inside what looked like a maintenance shaft. I managed to control the drone through the small tunnel until it reached the inside of the airlock the crew were trying to enter. I noticed that the airlock was only partially full of water, which meant there was a good chance that the station wouldn’t be completely full of water. This was good news I relayed to the others. I floated the drone to get better visuals inside of the airlock and noticed another shaft leading inside of the station above.

“That’s what I wanted to see.” I smiled when I saw into the station passed the airlock. “There’s no water inside the station. At least not on the other side of the airlock.”

“Good,”Thorsten said before ordering everyone inside.
