I peel my lips away from hers and rise to my full height to avoid temptation.

Her mouth trembles as she works through her emotions. After a moment, she swallows and whispers, “Thank you.”
My impatience grows as her face flushes and her features twist in pain as another cramp seizes her abdomen.

With a gentle push to her shoulder and a pat to her butt, I send her into the grate without a trace of worry in my soul.
