“You’re that sure?”

“Not a single doubt.”

“Your confidence is sexy. I’m not even going to lie.”

“Good.” I go in for another coffee flavored kiss. “I saw you staring at my abs,” I tease.

“Guilty as charged. Are you going to punish me for my inappropriate behavior?”

“I’ll let you know after we shower.” I pull her up from her chair. “C’mon, beautiful. You scrub my back and I’ll wash yours.”

Zoe and I trade spots under the showerhead. Depending on where we end up, the first thing I’m doing is installing a larger shower with better water pressure. If she didn’t have a heated fan in the ceiling, I’d be freezing my nuts off.

This scenario isn’t as sexy as I’d imagined when I convinced her it’d be hot.

“Let’s try this. Palms here.” Pressed against her backside, I place each of her hands on the shower wall. Soap gets in my eye, but I persevere.

Zoe juts her ass out and I try to line my cock up between her cheeks. I go to thrust and slide right in.

“Aww. Wrong hole,” she cries, jerking upward and back, startling me while sending me into the shower curtain. I lose my footing and bring her tumbling down with me. The two of us are a tangled and mangled heap twisted up in the shower curtain on the bathroom floor.

“Fuck. Are you okay?”

She struggles to go up on an elbow. “My life flashed before my eyes.”

“Did I hurt you?”

“A little, but I’ll survive. I know it was an accident.”

“We need a bigger shower,” I mutter and groan, knowing I’m going to hurt like a motherfucker later from twisting my body like a pretzel.

Zoe gets her robe on, and I secure a towel around my waist after turning the faucet off.

We place the shower curtain and rod in the tub.

“You got a mop handy?”

“Kitchen closet.”

“On it.” I trudge down the hallway, hoping I’m not tracking water everywhere. Movement in the picture window in the living room catches my attention. Like someone running past it. I know it wasn’t my reflection. Pausing out of view, I scope out the scene, then relax when I see it’s only the neighbor running after their dog.

Adam would be stupid to turn up here in broad daylight.

The sound of my cell ringing draws my attention back to the task at hand. I hustle to the kitchen to grab the mop, then trade it to Zoe for my phone.

Sliding my finger across the screen, I see a notification that I’ve missed a call from Bridger.

Chapter Seventeen

I overhear Prodigy on the phone when I enter the bedroom to get some clothes after our fiasco in the bathroom. My soul about left my body when the head of his cock tried to ram into my no-go zone. I’ve never been into ass play. I’m definitely not about to start now. He literally nearly tore me a new asshole.

“Talk to me. Cool. I’ll swing by for it soon. Thanks, man.” He pauses. “She did. Naw, that’s all right. Saves me a trip. No doubt.”

He flashes me a smile and drops his phone on the nightstand as I shimmy into my undies.

“I’ve gotta go by the bank to get a new card printed. It slipped my mind yesterday with everything that’s been going on for the past few days. Then I’m meeting up with Pam and the girls for lunch. What’s on your agenda?”

“Guess I’m going to the bank and to lunch with the girls.”
