“Only when it comes to you. I’m fucking feral. I think we should go upstairs right now so you can sit on my face in nothing but those sexy shoes you’re wearing.”

“Is this your way of trying to win her bet?”

“That depends. Is it working?”

“Can we negotiate on that number?”

“Yeah, babe.” I lick my lips and run a hand up her thigh, yanking the crotch of her underwear to the side. I rub a finger through her slick heat, then bring it back up to lick the taste of her.

“Oh my God. People can see us.”

“They don’t care.” I kiss her neck and along her jaw, working my way to her ear as a shudder ripples through her.

“He’s right. We don’t care,” Hazel says, totally listening in on us. She’s married to Holy, and she’s telling the truth. Her and her man have a sex room.

“Are you going to stand here and argue about it or are you going to go upstairs with me?” I cage her in against the bar and start finger fucking her. “Say yes, or I’m going to drop to my knees right here and start eating you in front of everyone.”

“You wouldn’t.” She looks at me, slightly horrified yet still aroused.

“Babe, I definitely would.” I start to take a knee.

“Okay fine. Three kids. Let’s go. Right now.”

Hazel busts out laughing and takes Stella’s empty martini glass.

“I’m glad you see things my way.” I lead my woman upstairs and I make her forget all about the party and Pam’s bet. Which I’m totally going to win after I stack the odds in my favor.

Epilogue

Some Years Later

“Hey all you Lipstick and Bloodstain Junkies. Today we are going to discuss the case of Jacob Elrod. I debated covering this case due to personal reasons, but let’s get into it, shall we? Jacob was born in Charleston, West Virginia to Virgie and Cliff Elrod. Most would say he had a privileged upbringing. He was an only child, and his parents did everything they could to give him all they never had. His father worked as a dentist so they could afford family vacations and have a nice home. Virgie worked at a local hospital in radiology. They weren’t loaded but were considered upper middle class. Despite his parents giving him anything he wanted. As an adult, Jacob fell into some bad habits. Leaning on drugs and alcohol and unable to hold down a job. His parents supported him up until he was twenty-six and he moved to Florida after cheating on his girlfriend of two years with her sister.

He did some odd jobs here and there and finally landed a job working for a scuba diving company in the Keys. However, he started showing up to work drunk and his boss wasn’t having that. One mistake too many. Putting people’s lives in danger got him fired.

The last time anyone heard from Jacob, he’d lost his apartment and was sleeping in his car. He told friends he was going back home to West Virginia. According to his parents, they had no idea he was coming home. They only discovered he was missing when his phone had been shut off for nonpayment. Sources say his cell phone was found by some kids doing magnet fishing in a local creek two years after he was first reported missing. What do you think happened to Jacob Elrod?”
