“You should,” Igraine said.

I met her gaze and nodded.

“This does not explain why you brought him in here,” the white-haired man straightened as he met Aislinn’s gaze. “The risk does not justify us going over the same prophecy again.”

“It was my fault,” I replied before Aislinn tried to explain herself. “I asked her to bring me. I have information to share.”

“Share it, boy,” the white-haired man barked. “We don’t have the luxury of waiting around.”

“The queen is searching for the Prince of Dark,” I said.

“Why?” Igraine asked.

I realized that they did not know.

“The Queen of Light kidnapped the Unseelie Princess,” I started to explain. “The queen was in liaison with an Unseelie Lord who stole the crown from the Unseelie King. She planned on marrying the princess to that lord so that his claim to the throne would be accepted by their subjects. But the prince got away, creating a problem. The queen wants him.”

“Why should we care about any of this?” the woman with black hair asked. “Sounds like Unseelie problems.”

“The monsters are gathering around the prince,” I replied. “The queen was the one who created them and now, something happened and they’re fae again. And the queen wants to find all of them so that her secrets will remain safe.”

“She cannot,” Igraine said confidently. “Most of the former monsters did not return to their families, and the ones that did, we will keep safe.”

“You will? I asked.

“We already were,” Igraine replied.

“Did the queen get her hands on any?” the white-haired man asked amusedly.

I shook my head. “No, she was mad about that.”

“She can be as mad as she wants,” he snapped angrily. “The resistance is growing day by day, soon, her reign will be over.”

“If the savior comes that is,” the man with the oversized jacket mumbled.

“We do not need a savior,” the white-haired man said. “We just need to keep spreading the message. We should recruit more minstrels. Make sure everyone knows what the queen has done and is planning to do.”

“Shouldn’t we wait for the prophecy to finalize?” Aislinn asked.

“We cannot wait, child,” Igraine replied, giving her an understanding look. “The prophecy might be finished already. And even if it isn’t, the queen’s lust for power grows every day. We need to wake up more Seelie to the truth.”

A silent affirmation went around in the room.

“Even if the song isn’t finished yet,” the white-haired man started, looking at Igraine.

“We shall sing,” Igraine finished his thought.
