“Look at her and tell me you wouldn’t want to hold her as tight as possible so she can’t get away,” Leon growls.

Everyone laughs, including me. “I’m not going anywhere.”

“Good damn thing cause I’d just follow you. To the ends of the earth.”

“Let’s get this started, Leon. I’ve got plans for you tonight.”

The minister coughs and blushes. “Alright. Dearly beloved…”

I look up into Leon’s blue gaze, lost in his warmth and love, repeating the lines automatically, barely conscious of it when he says them back, just feeling the air change around us, charging when the minister says the final words and Leon pulls me tight into him.

“You’re mine now. You can’t get away from me.”

Smiling into his lips when he kisses me, I laugh. “Neither can you.”

And his lips claim mine, drinking my moan deep, his tongue dancing with mine, my big belly pressing into him, our baby boy kicking his daddy like a wild thing.

I’ve finally found the family that I’ve always wanted, dreamed of, hoped for.

Leon lifts his head and the familiar smirk on his lips gives my heart wings.

“I love you, Mrs. Marsden.” Shivers rake my spine when he says that. Claims me like that.

“I love you too, Mr. Marsden.”

I’ve claimed my life as well. This is my future, this is my dream. My family is the hope for a better life than I ever thought I’d have.

Leon laughs and lifts me up, carrying me in his arms, always keeping me safe and loving me.

Wrapping me in the warmth of him, every day of my life. And always loving me.

The same way I love him. For the rest of our lives. And beyond.
