“Mom,” I groaned.
“We’d love that,” Brice gave her his smile that makes women swoon. “But we have to get back to the team on Tuesday.”
“Then tomorrow night it will be.” Mom gave them all her welcoming smile before she turned to walk back to the party, taking Dr. Muir with her. “And Becca,” she called over her shoulder. “Make sure you take them by the hospital tomorrow to meet Nan.”
My mouth dropped open.
“Oh yeah of little faith,” T.J. said as he planted a kiss on my lips. “Now let’s go let everyone else know.”
“And then we can find a bed.” Brice leaned in and kissed me.
“Now that’s a plan I can get behind.” Aaron took his turn to plant his lips against mine.
And I fully agreed with them. Bed with the three of them sounded like heaven. And to think I’d get to experience that forever. I was one lucky lady.
We may have lost our way for six years, but we’d found the path now. And we were never straying again.
