Pippi listened as they talked. She could feel the blush of embarrassment consume her face. Why hadn’t she thought about the fact that other people would hear about her prank and even the punishment that would result from it?

“What mess would that be?” Master Derek asked.

“Why don’t we let her show you?” Mr. Sam suggested. “Pippi, stand up please and lead the way to Mommy’s office.”

Pippi snapped her head up to look at him. “M-mommy?” she asked. If he was referring to Ms. Cat as Mommy and calling her “our Little girl” then maybe they had been telling the truth all along. Maybe they did care about her and didn’t mind if she wanted to be a little bit naughty sometimes. Maybe? Or maybe once she cleaned up, they would kick her to the curb.

“Yes, little girl. Mommy.” Ms. Cat slid her hand into Pippi’s and gave it a squeeze. “Now, you need to show Master Derek what you’ve done.”

“B-but… does he have to see? You could just tell him.”

“Nope. Office, now. March.”

Mr. Sam swatted her hard, making her jump and get her feet moving in the direction of the door. She walked fast, Ms. Cat keeping up with her pace, and she didn’t stop until they were in front of the office door.

“Go on.” Mr. Sam nudged again and she reached for the doorknob. She knew exactly what she would see, hell she had done it. But somehow it looked ten times worse than she remembered.

“Well, then.” Master Derek chuckled. “That’s quite the impressive mess, darlin’.”

“I’m sorry!” Pippi squeaked.

“Oh, I imagine you’re going to be.” Master Derek shook his head. “I’ll leave her in your capable hands, her participation in my Sadie’s prank was minimal compared to this. So you both can handle that as well. I’ve got to get back to my office as I know there are going to be some other angry Tops and recalcitrant Littles waiting for me.” He turned to Pippi. “You be a good girl for the Dentens and remember the things you have negotiated. Okay?”

“Yes, Sir.” Pippi nodded.

Master Derek left and the silence in the room was stifling. If only she had a time machine.

CHAPTER SIXTEEN

“I’ll just start cleaning,” Pippi mumbled as she tried to pull her hand free of Catherine’s, but her Mommy held tight.

“Not yet,” Cat told her. “First, we’re going to talk.” She led Pippi over to the couch and sat down before releasing her Little’s hand.

Toilet paper puffed up as she sat. It was everywhere and while Catherine and Sam were overjoyed that Pippi was allowing herself to freely brat a bit, that didn’t mean they could just let her get away with it. Pippi needed loving yet firm guidance in order to feel safe and that’s just what she was going to get.

Sam joined her, leaving Pippi to stand in front of them as she shifted from foot to foot fidgeting nervously with her fingers.

“Care to explain yourself, little girl?” Sam asked.

“I, umm…” She nibbled her lip.

She really did make an adorable picture and Cat kind of wished she had a camera to capture this moment forever.

“Happy National Prank Day.” Pippi put her hands out and shrugged, an adorable guilt-ridden smile crossing her face.

“Thank you, but we would like an explanation on all of this. How did you pull this off?” Sam asked. They had already put two and two together, but they wanted to hear her full confession before they passed down the judgment they also had already discussed.

“Uh, well, when I asked Ms. Cat?—”

“Mommy,” Sam corrected. “I want you in a very specific headspace for what’s about to happen, little one. You will refer to us as Mommy and Daddy for the rest of this day.”

Pippi froze, her eyes widening, a strangled sound letting them know her throat had tightened as she attempted to swallow.

Cat tried to send her some mental strength because she knew this was going to be new and possibly very difficult for their girl.

“M-Mommy,” Pippi muttered. “I asked for M-Mommy’s keys last night. Sadie kept you busy so I could make it so the door wouldn’t lock and then I came back really, really late.”

“And where did you get all of the toilet paper?”
