“Nope. I was raised a Jeep girl, and there’s no changing that now.” Her dad hadn’t left a big imprint on her after all these years, but he had been a Jeep man.

“You do surprise me, Sera. See? I did it.” He grinned like he had achieved a big goal.

“I will see you tomorrow, Harrison.” She opened the door of the Jeep.

“Maybe my name will be clear then.” His eyes were on her legs as she climbed into the vehicle.

“Maybe,” she replied and pulled the door shut.

Backing out of the parking stall, Harrison just stood and watched her. She still didn’t know why he had walked her to her car, but she liked that he had.
