“I am a reporter for the Times. If you have any leads on a juicy story, please call me. Please.” The redhead grinned. “And you can call me Buzz if you’re going to be my dad.”

“Oh god!” Emma moaned from beside Buzz.

“Relax, Em, He can be your daddy too.” Buzz punched the younger girl in the arm.

“Do not call him ‘daddy,’ Buzz. That is disgusting,” Lucy said from across the table.

Buzz’s eyebrow wiggled. “Maybe only when he gives me presents.”

Harper started choking on something, and most of the others started to laugh. These women were going to take some getting used to.

“Violet, go sit at the table.” Sera handed her a plate once the little girl had slid to the floor again.

“You already know Emma, so I didn’t introduce her. She is addicted to vampires.” Violet said about her sister and walked away.

The table erupted into a heated battle over vampires and werewolves. Violet calmly walked toward the group and Maby pushed an empty chair out from under the table for her and helped her into her seat, even as she continued to yell at her sisters.

“Dish up your own, Harrison. I am not your mother.” Sera nodded at the food.

Oddly, he realized he was the only one in the room that was not her kid. Filling his plate, he half watched Sera walk to the table where shifting took place, and she was able to sit down next to Violet. An empty chair materialized on the other side of her, all without a word from the group eating and arguing.

With a plate of steaming lasagna, Harrison sat at the table of women—Sera’s women. As far as he could tell, she had done an amazing job with every single one of them. From the oldest all the way down to Violet, they were a reflection of the woman he loved.
