As I hold my daughter close, feeling her warmth and the steady rhythm of her heartbeat, I can't help but think that love has transformed us all.

"When will the wedding start, daddy?" she asks excitedly. I smile with pure exhilaration. Today, after four years of knowing one another, I finally get to marry the love of my life.

I would have married her sooner, but Jasmine wanted me to focus on building our new Vitalin supply chains in America with the help of Luca Bonanno. She didn't want me distracted – wise woman.

Today, the business thrives, our home has been rebuilt, and the future of our children is secure.

"Soon, my love," I tell Amara. "We should get going."

Guests gather around the beautifully decorated courtyard for the wedding ceremony. Murmurs of excitement fill the atmosphere, punctuated by lots and lots of laughter.

I take a deep breath, feeling the warmth of the sun on my face and appreciating the gentle breeze that carries the sweet scent of Jasmine's favorite flowers, The lily of the valley, throughout the estate.

"Are you ready, Dario?" Leonardo, my best man and trusted brother, asks with a knowing smile. Even now, he is the ghost who stands behind me, watching over everything.

"Never been more ready for anything in my life," I reply, savoring this milestone; one I would never have predicted for my own future.

The music begins, signifying the start of the procession. All eyes turn toward the entrance. First to appear is my precious daughter, Amara, dressed in a white frock adorned with delicate lace.

She skips joyfully down the aisle, her sweet little curls bouncing with each step, her small hands gently tossing white rose petals on the path before her.

Gasps of delight and whispers of adoration follow in her wake, as family and friends marvel at the sight of our little angel lighting up the scene with her infectious happiness.

"She's absolutely adorable," I hear Tatiana Amante exclaim, while Rosalie Battaglia comments on her striking resemblance to Jasmine. Their reactions fill me with a sense of pride and wonder that I am fortunate enough to be the father of such a beautiful and spirited child, one who draws attention of the whole world.

"Look at our little girl, Dario," my mother says, her voice filled with emotion as she watches Amara, her eyes glistening with tears. "She's grown up so fast."

I nod in agreement, struggling to hold back my own tears. It feels like just yesterday when Jasmine and I welcomed her into the world, and now here she is, playing a significant role in this monumental day of our lives.

"Are you happy, mio figlio?" my mother asks gently, her hand resting on my arm in a gesture of support and love.

"My cup overflows," I say with conviction. "The only thing that compares to this when I found out you lived."

She sighs and wipes away a tear, giving my arm a gentle squeeze.

And as I watch our beautiful daughter dancing down the aisle, showering us with the promise of new beginnings, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Jasmine and I have made the right choices – not just for ourselves, but for our family, and for the generations to come.

As the last of Amara's petals flutter to the ground, my mother, Elisabetta, gently takes her hand and leads her away from the aisle. They share a tender moment as Amara nestles into my mother's embrace, her bright eyes full of innocent wonder.

It warms my heart to witness this connection between them – a bond that transcends time and unites our family across generations.

"Nonna, I did it!" Amara exclaims proudly, her voice bubbling with enthusiasm.

"Brava, mia bambina," my mother replies, her eyes glistening with pride. "You were perfect."

I watch as she cradles Amara in her lap, their laughter mingling with the excited murmurs of our guests.

The music swells, and I know the moment has come. My heart quickens like the wings of a hummingbird, moving faster than I can count. I take a deep breath, attempting to steady my nerves, but the world around me seems to blur and fade into the background.

All that remains is the drumming of my heart and the soft rustle of silk as Jasmine makes her entrance. As Jasmine glides closer, I notice Luca 'Lucky' Bonanno by her side.

The sight of Frank's father walking her down the aisle is heartwarming. The man saved my mother and brother, and today, he acts as a father to my soon-to-be wife.

It's a debt I'd never be able to repay.

"Respira, Dario," Leonardo, whispers to me at the altar, his tone both reassuring and amused as he notices how I tremble at the sight of her. "She's going to be your wife in just a few moments. Relax."

"Easy for you to say," I retort, trying to muster a smile. But my words are lost beneath the gasps and whispers that ripple through the crowd as Jasmine appears.
