"It's Elle Hensley? From Groveton High School?" I said with a smile, not at all phased by his intimidating stare.

Then, his brows shot up with recognition. "Elle!"

He left the couch and came over to give me a warm hug.

"How the hell did you know I was here?" he asked.

"Billy. I mean, Wrecker didn't tell you I ran into him at your club the other night?"

Heavy scratched the scruff of his beard, and that familiar brooding look appeared in his eyes again. "No, he didn't. He left about fifteen minutes ago."

Bagger handed Heavy his beer and said, "He was heading to the clubhouse."

"He's been acting like a dick lately," Heavy replied, then looked back at me. "Sorry, Elle. Just talkin' some club shit."

"I came here to see Wrecker. He was at my house yesterday, and we slept together. Then after, his mood suddenly changed, and he left. I wanted to talk to him." I said, as my throat burned, feeling the pain of Wrecker's coldness when he left my bed.

Heavy took my hand and led me to the couch opposite the one Bagger sat on. "We had words earlier, and he got pissed and left. But he never told me about you and him."

"I'm so angry at him. I need to shout, hit, and scream at him!"

"I bet you do, darlin. "I have a great idea," Heavy said with a chuckle. "My old lady, Dani, just gave birth to my kid."

Heavy had an old lady and a baby?

"That's wonderful, Hendrix!" I explained, calling him by his real name and hugging him again. "A girl or boy?"

"A girl and her name is Leah Danika Stone. My Reaper brothers and their old ladies are throwing a clubhouse party for me and Dani next Saturday night. And you're invited. I'm going to talk to Wrecker in a few days and see if he'll be straight up with me about you and him."

"Please don't tell him you invited me to your clubhouse party." I pleaded.

"I won't because I want to see the look on my best friend's face when you walk into the clubhouse." He looked down at my chest. "Wear something like what you got on now. Wrecker will have steam coming out of his fucking ears."

I looked over at Bagger, who began to chuckle and then laughed loudly. "I'll flirt with you, Elle. That's if you don't mind. Besides, Wrecker deserves some ball-busting."

"How about you make a grand entrance and ride to the clubhouse with Bagger on his bike?" Heavy asked, as his eyes gleamed with mischief.

"Brilliant!" Bagger shouted.

"But I've never ridden on a motorcycle before," I said, feeling a little excited over the possibility.

Heavy replied, "I trust my Sgt. At Arms with my life," Heavy replied. "He's been riding dirt bikes and ATVs since he was a kid. He's one of the best riders in my club. You can trust him to ride safely and get you to the clubhouse. Reaper's promise."

"The added effect of Wrecker seeing you on my bike will be fucking priceless," Bagger said.

Bagger offered to ride his motorcycle to my house and pick me up for the clubhouse party, so he gave me his phone number. I texted him my home address and then left the Dollhouse with a big smile on my face.

CHAPTER 10

WRECKER

It was around 5 pm when Heavy held church at the Reaper Bastards clubhouse in the tiny backroom where all club members were packed in. Heavy sat at the end of the long rectangular oak table once used as a conference table for some big wig CEO who went bankrupt at a shady financial business firm in Northern Virginia. Before it belonged to the Reaper Bastards, the oak table had a shine with not one scratch. I laughed inside as I sat to Heavy's right, looking at all the scratches and grooves carved into the table with knives over the years.

Heavy pounded on the table with his fist and shouted for the brothers to shut the fuck up so he could go over what was to happen that afternoon.

Heavy started by telling our brothers about what happened at the Dollhouse a week before. He was still weary of working with the Valhalla Heathens MC out of Louisiana, who were both stupid and brave to set up a chapter in Northern Virginia. Heavy warned that they should never be trusted. However, since the Reaper Bastards had a good standing with Nolan Reynolds and he had proven to help bring in money for the club, we signed up to do this deal.

"Our newly patched-in member, Grizzly, has a CDL license," Heavy began. "And he'll drive the semi-trailer truck thanks to Piotr Andrysiak. Wrecker, Bagger, our Treasurer, Tusk, Gator, and I will ride to the Port of Norfolk in Virginia. It's a 3 and ½ hour drive, so we only make one stop to piss and fuel up. When we get to the Port, we load the semi with a thousand board games that are shrinkwrapped and on pallets. Fifty counterfeit money print plates are hidden within those board games.
