Riding with Wrecker was always a thrill and a great adrenaline rush. I loved wrapping my arms around his waist, then reaching under this shirt to press my hands on his hard stomach or kissing his neck. I felt the wind push against me and heard Wrecker squeeze in the clutch and shift gears while riding down tree-covered back roads in Virginia.

I was surprised when Wrecker parked the bike in the parking lot beside the grassy courtyard at our old high school. The place looked the same as it did 15 years ago, except for the new picnic tables. When we climbed off the bike and pulled our helmets off, Wrecker took my hand and walked me to a picnic table. Then, when I sat, he knelt down on one knee.

His handsome blue eyes gleamed with happiness, and he smiled nervously when he pulled out a small box from inside his Reaper Bastards vest and opened it.

It was a diamond ring.

“Elle Hensley, will you be my wife?”

“Yes, Billy Cooper, I will!”

THE END
