“Aiden. Please, Aiden, please, please, please. Let me come.”

His tongue flicked her nipple, then he looked up. “You really want to come?”

She nodded.

He grinned. “Okay, Pixie.”

His mouth went back to her nipple, sucking, licking, worshipping. Then he left that one to lavish the other with the same treatment.

She was about to beg again when he reached between them and stroked her clit. He spread her wetness around with his thumb, then pressed that magic thumb straight against her clit and circled. His mouth met hers as they came simultaneously, her body clenching around him as he flooded warm come into her.

After a moment to recuperate, he wrapped his arms around her and picked her up, carrying her upstairs to his bed where he spent more hours worshipping her.

Chapter 17

Bex

Bex climbed the stairs onto the tour bus, carrying her fiddle case and her duffle bag. She pushed through the curtain into the front lounge.

A heavy curtain separated the band lounge from the driver compartment. The record label provided a nice bus for Lovely Oblivion, which had both front and back lounges, a kitchenette, bunks, and bathroom. It was a nice setup with wall-mounted TVs in each lounge that were hooked to the latest Xbox systems. Compartment doors separated the bunks from the lounges. Compared to their old bus, which the band purchased themselves with scraped-together funds, this was the holy grail.

Bex settled onto the leather couch in the front lounge and checked her phone again. 12:30 am. She had a single text from Aiden asking if she was okay. More than she’d expected since she knew he worked until 1:00 am.

She’d left her hometown to meet the band in Seattle hours ago. She sent Aiden a message checking in and letting him know she’d made it safe. She also forwarded a copy of the band’s schedule to his email.

The rest of the band poured in and fell into the bunks. Jade’s fiancé Ryker followed close behind. The former Navy SEAL offered a small salute to Bex before Jade pulled him into a bunk and zipped him inside.

Before Bex was ready, the bus pulled out and Lovely Oblivion headed on tour.

Bex loaded up Mario and concentrated on that. Their first concert would be later that evening; she only needed to make it till then.

Shortly after 1:00, her phone rang. Aiden’s face lit up her screen.

“Hey there,” she answered.

“Pixie, hey. You doing okay?”

“I’m fine. I emailed my schedule to you. Pick a couple of the long breaks and we’ll make arrangements to see each other.”

“Okay, will do.” He affirmed her request but he sounded depressed.

“You sound sad, Aiden. Why?”

“I’m not. I promise. I miss you. Having you with me every night, even for such a short time, was perfect.”

“I know. Waking up with you was the best.”

“So I’m not down. I know we’ll be together soon. I miss you right now. But don’t worry about me,” he cleared his throat. “How are you?”

“I’m taking things one day at a time until I get to see you again.”

“Same. We’ve got this.”

“We do. Good night, Aiden. Talk to you later.”

“Good night, Pixie. Break a leg at your show.”

“Thanks. I love you.”
