“Hey, wait up!” Julian shouts as Seth grabs my hand and almost runs out of the room with me.
A wild chuckle escapes me as I wave at my confused friends and follow Seth out of the ward. His fingers don’t loosen around my wrist even as we step into the hallway.
Sliding a door, he walks inside, taking me alongside him.
“What is this place?” I ask, staring around at a dimly lit room.
“One of our sergeants gave birth in this ward some days back,” he says, closing the door. “She was discharged this morning.”
“Huh?” I mumble confusedly.
“I knew this ward would be empty,” he says, looking at me with a warm look in his eyes. “I can’t wait until we go back home to hear what you said just now. That’s why I brought you here.”
A shy smile comes onto my lips. “I want a baby too,” I whisper.
His hands cup my face. “Are you being serious right now?”
I nod with the sincerest look I can muster. “I want to be a mom too. I feel like I’m strong enough to be one.”
“Of course, you’re strong enough, Rory,” he says, kissing my forehead. “You’re smart, kind, and the sweetest person I know. You’ll be an amazing mom to our babies.”
A thousand different emotions well up inside me. Throwing my arms around his neck, I pull myself against him and capture his lips.
Rough groans escape him as he kisses me back fiercely. His arms wound around my waist, keeping me pressed against him as he thoroughly tastes me.
Feeling utterly breathless, I break away, but Seth doesn’t allow it. His hand captures the back of my neck and pulls me in for another hot kiss.
His urgency sends a thrill through me. A massive throb goes through my core, making me rub against him desperately.
“Rory,” he whispers in a deep voice. The intensity in his eyes makes my heart pound with anticipation. “How about we get started on the job right here?”
“Here?” I squeak, looking around the darkened room.
Closing the distance between us, Seth forces me against the wall. “Why not?”
My mind is so hazy with lust that I can’t come up with an answer. Sucking in a breath, I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him down for a kiss.
His tongue sweeps across my bottom lip before he bites into the soft flesh. The light nip sends a tendril of heat through my core, igniting a fire within me.
Wanting to touch him in every possible way, I run my hands down his back and forcibly pull his shirt up. A groan escapes me the moment my palms touch his heated skin.
Sucking on my lip, Seth quickly unbuttons my shirt. A distant part of me wonders how he can do it without ripping any of the buttons, but as the fabric falls away from my body, I forget about everything.
Grabbing onto my bra cups, he pulls them down, exposing my naked breasts to the cold air. My nipples harden and he’s quick to take one in his mouth.
“Ahh, Seth!” I groan as he sucks the hardened tip while his hand squeezes the other breast.
“Ssh,” he warns. “Do you want them to catch us?”
The thought of being found in this position sends a thrill through me. While the idea makes my lust burn hotter, a more alert part of my mind knows that we need to be careful. I’d cry if we’re forced to stop what we’ve started!
A yelp escapes me as Seth twists a nipple.
My teeth sink into my bottom lip to stop myself from making any more noise. I silently curse him for being naughty and making it hard for me to stay quiet.
To punish him, I graze my hand against the front of his trousers.
A hiss escapes him immediately. Feeling bolder, I fumble with his trousers’ button and zipper.
