"Yeah, but you carried them." He disagrees with me.
"I guess." I shrug my shoulders.
"You are perfect." He whispers, kissing my forehead now.
"You're just saying that." I’m a little embarrassed.
"No." He disagrees once again, shaking his head.
I smile a little, feeling the tension leaving my shoulders.
"Are you alright?" He asks, sitting down beside me and reaching out to rub my back.
"I'm fine." I tell him, honestly not sure if that’s true or not but I can’t just change my mind about it.
"Are you sure?" He questions me.
My cheeks burn a little bit with embarrassment, "I just... I want to be alone with you. That's all."
"Well, that will happen in a few weeks." He guarantees, letting me see the big bulge in his pants.
"That's true."
"We have to wait."
"Yes, and it's hard."
He leans down and kisses me softly, making me moan. "Soon, my love."
"Okay."
"Now, let's go home."
"Alright."
He holds out his hand to me and I take it, getting to my feet. He's so supportive and understanding. He really is amazing.
"I love you." I tell him honestly.
"I love you too, Hannah." He leans down and kisses my forehead, his touch making me sigh. "Now, let's go."
"Okay."
He leads me upstairs to the bedroom where he will help me get the babies down. They are already asleep but it really hurts to bend over due to being cut open. I'm not supposed to do anything but lay in bed but Onyx is willing to do the heavy lifting for now.
"There we go."
He lays the twins in the bassinet and sits down beside me on the bed, smiling softly at me.
"It's hard to believe that this is real." I admit, "Sometimes, I feel like I'm dreaming."
"Me too."
"I didn't think that I would find my fated mate."
"You're stuck with me now." He growls, his lips meeting mine in an intense kiss.
"That's true."
