In six months, so much has changed.
For one, I’m not the thin girl that I was. I have packed on some weight finally, filling out my curves. My breasts and butt have gotten bigger, making me a little self-conscious but Reagan has loved every second of it. Our relationship has really grown as well and I can even say that I love him. It wasn’t easy because I never knew if I could fully trust him, but something about him just feels right now.
Sitting beneath the stars, Reagan and I are just watching the night sky, comfortable in the silence. I’m not sure what’s going through his mind but that’s okay. I’m okay with not knowing everything. I’m sure he feels the same way at times. I kind of worried that he would get bored of me but we haven’t. If anything, I truly think that our relationship has gotten stronger. I slip his hand into mine, just loving the feel of his body touching mine in ANY kind of way. Not just sexually.
But the words coming out of his mouth is what shocked me next.
“I love you, Ava.” He tells me suddenly, making me look up at him in surprise because I have no idea where this is going, “I know this might sound a bit strange but you’re it for me. Even if you were not my soulmate, I could have easily fallen in love with you more times than I can count. And I want you to be my Luna. I want to show the world that you are mine and I am yours. You don’t have to give an answer, I just…”
I leap at him, tackling him to the ground. I just straddle his waist as I pepper him with kisses, feeling like I’m free. I don’t know why these small words made a difference but they did.
“Yes, I will be your Luna.” I promise him, meeting his eyes, “I love you so much, Reagan.”
And like that, I sealed the deal with a kiss.
