“You ready to go home, or you want to hang out with the girls?”

She glanced over at the table with the women as she sucked hard on her lollipop. She had to stop fucking doing that. He grabbed her wrist, pulling it out of her mouth.

“Enough with the sucking.”

The corner of her mouth curled. “I thought you liked when I suck.”

“Vada.” He growled. It seemed her bachelorette party had brought out a virile minx in his woman. Hades was all for it, behind closed doors. She was testing his control, and from the taunting smile on her lips, she knew it.

“Does this mean you want me to stop doing that thing I do when I’m sucking—”

Hades didn’t let her finish. He grasped the back of her neck and kissed her. He wasn’t usually one for public displays of affection, but Vada was testing him. He’d be counting down the minutes ’til he took her home. She would definitely be doing that thing with her tongue.

A drunk Vada Zink was not only entertaining, she was horny.

She threw her arms around his shoulders and kissed him back. Their display got some attention with hooting and hollering, and it was Hades who broke from the kiss.

“Vada, get your ass over here!” Trista shouted.

Hades smacked her butt. “Go be with your girls.”

Vada smiled, kissed him quickly, and started across the room.

“Vada, you want a pussy drink?”

Motherfucker! Hades scowled at Joe behind the bar.

“You know the recipe?” Vada asked, clearly confused.

Joe laughed. “No, but Grain must’ve heard it was your bachelorette party and sent up a whole container of it yesterday.”

Vada smiled and looked over at Hades, but his main focus was still on Joe. I’m gonna kill you, asshole. Yes, Grain had sent up the drink, but they’d all agreed not to mention it to the women until they could evaluate their intoxicated state. The pussy drink was meant to be the only drink of the night. Not the fucking swan song.

“Yes, please. Thanks, Joe.”

It’s gonna be a long fucking night.

Chapter Nine

Too much alcohol had two effects on most people, good or bad.

Vada started out on a high at the beginning of the night. She couldn’t have asked for a better bachelorette party. These women, her friends, had made it more amazing than she could’ve imagined. Coming back to the clubhouse, to Hades, was perfect.

Until it wasn’t.

The women were enjoying the last of their drinks before everyone headed home. She hadn’t seen Hades and the brothers in a while and assumed they’d retreated to the back room. The women had been feeding off each other’s liveliness and had become increasingly loud as the night moved on. But it was after one in the morning, and the mood had settled down.

The subject of her wedding had been the focal point but shifted to guests, mainly parents. With the current topic of conversation, Vada’s energy had taken a turn and done a complete one-eighty.

“When are Nadia, Carter, and your dad coming?” Bailey asked Phoebe.

“Wednesday,” Phoebe said. “What about your parents?”

“Wednesday, too. Trevor’s flight comes in around the same time so he’s going to drive them over from the airport.” Bailey smiled over at Marissa.

“My mom is driving down on Friday with Macy’s mom and stepfather.” Cheyenne shared a look with her best friend. “And they’ve all decided to stay until Tuesday. If my mom doesn’t drive me insane, it should be a good time.”

The women chuckled, and even Vada cracked a smile, but it didn’t reach her heart. In fact, another bitter beast was rearing its ugly head. Jealousy.
