“Can’t wait to show you the bar.”

When Vada walked in, she immediately froze. The entire room had been converted into a wedding reception. Some things remained. The stripper pole hadn’t been removed, but it was wrapped in white tule with several bows. More tables had been added and each one had a white tablecloth and a large candle centerpiece. Vada glanced up, noticing all the string lights streaming from the ceiling. It was so beautiful. The bar had also been lined with lights wrapped around a floral garland from one end to the other. It changed the entire look of the room. Of all the decorations, the white, silver, and black balloon arch at the hallway entrance was her favorite. It was perfect.

“What do you think?”

“I can’t believe Kase let you do this,” Vada said.

Phoebe cocked her head and squinted as she scanned the room. Uh oh!

“Kase hasn’t seen it yet.”

Vada gasped, resting her hand on her chest. “Do you think he’ll be mad?”

Phoebe burst out laughing. “He’s gonna lose his shit, but I’ve prepared for it. He’s on Daphne duty all day until the ceremony, which means he’s going to have to hold back while she’s around.”

“What about after the sitter picks her up?”

Phoebe smirked and put her arm around Vada. “Nothing a blowjob won’t fix. Kase is actually a very simple creature. Most men are.”

Vada felt the heat rise on her cheeks.

“Come on, you’re the last one here. All the girls are in the back, and Trini is in charge of Allie and Emme.”

“I should just…” Check on things?

Phoebe tightened her hold, leading Vada down the hall. “No. We’ve got everything covered. All you have to do is walk down the aisle and marry the panty-dropping outlaw boss.” Vada immediately chuckled. Hades would never live that nickname down. At least with the women. “And have fun, okay?”

“You make it sound easy and smooth.”

“Because it will be. Me, Tris, Chey, Macy, Riss, Bailey, Rose, and Ivy are gonna make sure of it. Trust us. We got you, girl.”

The next two hours consisted of everyone rushing around except Vada. She was treated to a catered brunch set up in the room and bottomless Mimosas. Vada stopped after the first one. She’d already had one drunken breakdown at the clubhouse, and she wasn’t risking another. Especially today. The room was in a state of controlled chaos. While the activity was abundant, it was actually very relaxing. The women had definitely coordinated how they moved in the smaller space. It worked out flawlessly.

Trini had done her hair. It was pulled back with loose curls framing her face. Nothing fancy, but once Trini fitted the veil on, it was as if a switch had been turned on. Butterflies fluttered in her belly. The women had multi-tasked, and while Trini did her hair, Cheyenne did her makeup. The end result was more than Vada could’ve imagined.

They tried to hold off with Allie and Emme for as long as possible, but the girls were beyond excited. Vada gave in. With a little over an hour til the ceremony, it was anyone’s guess if their dresses would remain spotless.

Both girls were spinning in circles in the hallways, making the dresses flare and giggling. Emme came to an abrupt halt and wobbled to the side before regaining her balance.

“Can I go show Daddy?” Emme asked with Allie sidling up next to her.

“Please,” Allie begged.

“I’ll take them outside. I think that’s where Hades and Roan are. Also, I’m going to get a few pictures of them. Now, it’s your turn.” Trini pointed down the hall. “Time to get into that pretty white dress. Trista is waiting for you. Text me if you need anything.”

Finally! Vada was just as excited as the girls to get into her dress. Trini didn’t need to tell her twice.

Vada was almost to the end of the hall when she heard her name. She glanced over her shoulder and watched Trax walk toward her. He held up a small but thick manilla envelope.

“Got something for you.” He handed it to Vada. “Came in earlier this morning.”

“For me?”

Trax nodded. “Yeah. I think you’re the first old lady to ever get mail sent to the clubhouse.”

Oh shit!

“Don’t tell Kase.”
