Chapter 33

Luke watched Orly sleep, her naked back pressed up against his bare chest. The early morning sun was already shining brightly through the half closed blinds of their bedroom window, and Luke was excited for the day.

It had been two months since her ordeal with Nelson and Russell, and her nightmares from that awful time were finally starting to subside. They’d talked about it extensively in the days that followed, and Orly was talking to a counselor to help her work through the grief and fear.

Orly sighed in her sleep, and rolled onto her back, her eyes slowly opening to look up at him.

“Good morning.” Luke nuzzled her cheek and trailed soft kisses down her neck.

“It is indeed.” She smiled, and turned her head, arching her back to give him better access. He groaned as his cock swelled with need. His love and passion for her had only grown in the time they’d been together.

She stretched, pushing her breasts to brush up against the side of his arm, sending desire all through his body. His morning wood was so hard, he might split if he didn’t bury himself inside her.

He kissed his way down her shoulder, trailing kisses to the valley between her breasts. His mouth watered as he suckled and laved one nipple, then the other, giving them each soft bites in between the gentle licks.

She moaned, and her legs naturally fell open for him. He followed the scent of her arousal, trailing kisses all the way down her beautiful body until his hot breaths mingled with the soft curls at her core.

“Luke.” Her pleading moan only made him want her more. He swiped his tongue along the lips of her pussy, sending her hips bucking toward the ceiling. He laved and sucked her clit, eliciting delicious moans and gasps from her beautiful mouth.

When he was on the verge of coming himself, he said, “I want you up on all fours.”

She instantly obliged, rolling over and coming up on her hands and knees. He adjusted her position slightly before coming up behind her and sinking into her welcoming heat. He thrust into her only a handful of times when he felt his orgasm already building. But he needed Orly to come first. He reached around her and fingered her clit, making her little muscles tighten around him.

As his pleasure intensified, he realized that it was somehow different this time. More intense. Like he wasn’t just feeling his own climax roaring up on him, but hers too, and that’s when he felt her thoughts filling his mind. She was sharing with him everything he was doing to her, and everything she was feeling in that moment.

Orly. Out of everything they’d shared with each other, this was the most personal thing he’d ever felt from her, and it was enough to send him over the top. Just when he thought he wouldn’t be able to control himself, Orly’s body started to quiver beneath him. She made a keening sound, and then liquid heat pooled around his cock, making her go completely slick.

Two more thrusts into her still shuddering body, and he went right over the edge with the power of not only his own climax, but hers as well. It was a mind-blowing, gut wrenching, soul shattering experience he didn’t think he’d come out of intact. All the love she felt for him. All the pain from her past that she surrendered to him in that moment. All the bliss and ecstasy of the orgasm she was riding out. It was too much. But as he emptied into her, it spurred Orly into another orgasm, this one fiercer and more consuming than the first, extending Luke’s orgasm, as his mind and body followed her into the vortex of intense pleasure. She was holding on to him. Gripping his mind. His heart. His soul.

They rode out the tsunami of their combined pleasure until they were both sweaty, satiated, tangled messes, collapsing onto the bed next to each other. Facing each other. Her cheeks were flushed. Her eyes glazed over with desire. But it was her mind that captivated him. She hadn’t just let him feel her orgasm. She’d let him into her heart. Her true core. And it was something he’d never forget.

I wanted you to know how much I love you. How much I love being with you and having you inside me.

“I feel the same way about you, Orly. I always have,” Luke said.

Orly smiled, and turned in his arms, pressing her back to his front. She loved being spooned, and he loved holding her like this. He felt her drift off to sleep again, and all Luke could do was lie there in his blissful state, forever grateful to have this woman in his bed and in his life. He closed his eyes, content to lay here with her, holding her in the early morning hours of what he hoped would be an amazing day.

Half an hour later, Orly stirred in his arms, and he pulled her in closer. “Are you okay?”

“I was dreaming about Nelson,” she mumbled, still half asleep.

Luke froze. She’d looked so peaceful. If he’d known she was having a nightmare he would’ve woken her up. “I’m sorry. Do you want to talk about it?” As much as Orly claimed she was okay, Luke worried she would never find the kind of peace he wanted for her. Free of nightmares, guilt, and sorrow for a brother she never even knew she had.

The corners of Orly’s mouth gently lifted even as her eyes remained closed. “It wasn’t a bad dream. It was strange though. We were kids. I was young, maybe five or six. And Nelson was there. He was the same age, and he was so cute and funny. We were running around in a park, and he kept chasing me because I wouldn’t give him the ball. He was laughing.” Her voice hitched, and Luke kissed her temple.

“I think I finally got to see him the way he was supposed to be,” Orly said. “The way we were supposed to be. He wasn’t evil, Luke. Why did he have to become someone so cruel? How is that fair?”

“It’s not fair,” Luke answered. Nothing about what happened to Orly or her brother was fair. It was awful that Nelson’s parents didn’t take the time to understand him. But Orly’s childhood was nothing to write home about either, and she still only used her gift for good. Nelson might’ve had a context for his behavior, but there was no excuse for all the pain he’d caused, all the people he’d killed.

Still, he understood Orly’s need to believe that deep down, her twin brother was a good person, or at least had the potential to be a good person. She’d told him what Nelson’s last words were to her, and while Luke could only hope they were said with good intentions, there was no way of knowing. All that mattered to him now was the woman in his arms, and he would do and say anything to help her through this. “Maybe this dream is a sign,” he said, knowingly grasping at straws, but hoping it would at least make her feel better in the moment.

Orly nodded, like she already knew what he was going to say. “I think so too. I think maybe Nelson’s finally found peace.”

Luke sighed. That was what he wanted for her. Peace. “What about you?” He asked.

Orly rolled onto her side to face Luke. “I’ve never known greater peace than being with you. These last few months, living here with you, sleeping with you, sharing my days and nights with you, has honestly been the best time of my life.”

Luke’s heart swelled at her words. “Mine too.” He reached over and pulled out a small box from the top drawer of his nightstand. “Orly, you know you’re the love of my life. There’s no one else in the world I ever want to be with. I told you before, and I’ll tell you again and again, I love you, forever. So, I just have to ask one thing.”
