“Tell me what you’re feeling,” Ridge panted, his face buried in the crook of my neck, teeth grazing the tender flesh there.

“Electricity,” I gasped, my nails digging into his shoulders as I clung to him, riding the waves of ecstasy that crashed through me with each powerful thrust. “Like lightning in my veins.”

“Me too.” Ridge’s grip on me tightened as he drove himself deeper, harder, faster.

“Ridge, why does it feel like we’re connected in every possible way?” I asked breathlessly, my hands tangled in his hair as he continued to love me under the stars.

“Because we are, Tori. We were always meant to be together,” he said between heated kisses down my neck, sending shivers up my spine.

“Can you feel it, too? This…fire between us?”

“It’s like a wild inferno that can’t be tamed.” His deep, raspy voice quickened my pulse even more.

“Promise me something, Ridge.”

“Anything, Tori.”

“Promise me that no matter what happens, we’ll always be there for each other.”

“I promise.” He sealed his words with a searing kiss that shattered my soul.

As our bodies moved together, completely in sync, I marveled at the intensity of our connection. It was as if every touch, every movement, and every breath we shared only strengthened the bond between us. Ridge’s emotions poured into me—his love, his desire, his fierce determination to protect me at all costs.

“Ridge, I…”

“Tell me, Tori. What do you want?”

“More. Give me more of you,” I begged desperately. “I need all of you.”

“Take it, baby. Take all of me,” he growled, his eyes blazing with passion as he drove himself into me over and over. The sensation was overwhelming, and I clung to him as my vision dimmed, the stars seeming incredibly bright.

“I can’t hold on much longer.”

“Let go. I’ve got you. Trust me.”

I surrendered myself completely to him, allowing the tidal wave of ecstasy to consume me. As I cried out his name, Ridgefollowed suit, our voices mingling in the night as we shared a moment of pure, unadulterated bliss.

Panting, Ridge pulled me close, his chest rising and falling against my breasts. “There’s something I need to tell you.” His voice was heavy with emotion.

“Anything,” I said, dazed by the intensity of our experience.

“Remember the meteor shower? Well, I lied. There isn’t one tonight.” His admission hung in the air between us, like a secret finally set free.

“Wait, what?” I burst out laughing. “You fibber.”

“I needed a reason to bring you out here, to this beautiful place under the stars.” His gaze searched mine for understanding. “You see, Tori, the truth is that I’ve been wanting to propose to you for a while now, but I couldn’t find the right moment. Every time I tried, you would do something or say something that made it impossible to resist you, and I had to act fast before I lost my nerve.”

“Stop,” I said, my voice full of love for this man who had risked everything for me. “You didn’t have to lie. You could’ve just told me the truth.”

“Maybe.” A slight smile played on his lips. “But where’s the fun in that? Besides, I wanted it to be a surprise. Something you’d never forget.”

“Trust me, I will never forget this night,” I assured him, pressing my lips to his in a tender kiss.

“Good.” He pulled back to look into my eyes. “Because I want you to remember this moment, this place, forever. It’s where we took the next step in our journey together, and I would not trade it for anything.”

“Neither would I.” My voice was thick with emotion. “I love you, Ridge. And I promise, no matter what happens, I’ll always find my way back to you.”

“Always,” he echoed, drawing me close once more as we lay entwined beneath the night sky.
