At the same time, her hips were compelled to move. Her muscles held every inch of his hard flesh tight.

He leaned in to lick her throat. Her head fell back to expose more of it to his mouth, reveling in the sensation as she rocked her hips.

Teeth nipped her fevered skin. Her fingers dug into his shoulders, his fingers dug into her hips, guiding her so she plunged down on him, harder, faster, nipples grazing his chest.

His left arm slid around her hips locking her in place, his right stroked up her back to grip the base of her neck, driving her down.

“Jori!”

She exploded again, gripping him so tight she thought she was going to die. Through the blinding haze, she was acutely aware of him expanding and surging inside of her.

He exhaled on a long breath, his forehead pressed to her chest.

He looked up into her face, lids heavy, then pulled her down to kiss him. He drew his long legs up into the plane and shifted them so they could lay back on the bedroll, Kymri still atop him. Jori still inside her.

They rested for a short while before the exploration of each other’s bodies began in earnest.

It was very late by the time Kymri flew back to the guard tower platform. She went straight to her office to make her report ready to present to the council.

She couldn’t leave him on the beach anymore.

Her fingers drummed the desktop. The hot pink of her nails drew her attention to the memory of him admiring the color and kissing each finger, his tongue slipping over the sensitive pads of her fingertips.

What do I do?

She wanted to keep him.

He needed to get home.

He wouldn’t be allowed to stay.

And she had her duty to protect her queen and her people.

Invaders

Stenlen soared over the open ocean, his subordinates off either wingtip.

The human’s last broadcast had stated he was headed toward these coordinates.

There was something here.

The scent in the air signaled a change in magnetic energy. He dipped through several layers of cloud, banking and rolling to break the monotony of the endless ocean and sky. It helped a little. He’d rather be flying over the mountain ranges and forests back home.

An unfamiliar scent drifted past his nostrils, triggering the urge to hunt.

Female, and nearby.

He followed it, his companions flying close behind trailing in his wake, moving almost as a unit.

He snarled; he could taste her in the air, they were fucking close!

He couldn’t believe it.

The human had let them to the dragonesses.

He could taste her.

It was a thin stream of scent in the air. Distinctive. Keeping his nostrils aligned with the drifting scent, he followed it further and further to the east, pulling him along like a bull ring in his nose. He was latched on and was not going to let it go.
